We are coming to the end of a memorable reign of The Dinky Duke in which I have been AWOL for a couple of weeks. My sincere thanks go to gen2 for such a polished performance in my absence and "Congratulations" to The Dinky Duke, himself for being virtually self-sufficient. We shall see his last set of four words to be linked tomorrow morning at 9.00am.
Also look out for seekeerz from Oz, who is the regular organiser of the international version of this same game (called KM Links). That usually kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am in which we attempt to predict the four link words of the Daily Telegraph's weekend challenge. Quite a few entrants have scored 4 out of 4 here in the recent past.
What will happen tomorrow is anyone's guess. Certainly the winner of the MM June's Challenge will earn the right to set the links throughout the month of July! There are several in the leading bunch ~ but the winner will have to hold their nerve.
Me? I am crofter, Keeper of the Rule Book and Ancient Abacus.
Right, I'm back again. Does seem a bit empty tonight, I suppose Pauline is well into the other party, whatever it is, Anne Summers or Body swap - is that what it's called.
No mention of tomorrows link game or guessing what the subject will be.
Maybe.
Donavon - is he there ? Haven't heard from him in months (years even)
Once known as the British equivalent of Bob Dylan, I quite enjoyed some of his records
Hi everyone. Daughter and Grandsons have come from Brixham Devon to stay weekend as it's Lichfield Son in law's 40th birthday tomorrow so have been out and about and then getting them settled into bed.
Went to see Elkie Brooks last night and she was absolutely Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was one of the best shows I have seen and she still has the most brilliant voice. Will do another post in a minute.
Strix how do you know so much about Ann Summers parties????????
Thanks strix.
See Mellow Yellow crept in there again !!!
Great track from the Beatles - thats my next task.....sleeping
See you tomorrow for the links games
Good evening Kay, missed your usual appearance tonight.
Great song, glad to hear you enjoyed Elkie Brooks.
She obviously is still going strong, she has been around for some time now.
The old ones are still the best
Kay, my information about Ann Summers' parties is necessarily "second hand" - usually from the barmaids in the public bar of my local pub who seem to appreciate the products from what they tell me!! ::))))))
Lovely - thanks for that nightcap strix. I must go to bed now, see you all in the morning (about 9.04 if I make it)
Surprising how many posts there are between 9 am and 9.02 - all after bonus points !
Goodnight all
