I'm 48 and I've long given up the desire to impress women. I've got my life with my wife and other women don't enter the equation. You also realise as you get older that any woman who is attracted to a man purely for his car/wallet is bad news anyway.

Myself, I buy a German made car for its Quality, reliability, I do not, have not even tried to impress the opp sex, if the opp sex said talked to me about buying a more expensive car I know which one would go.Its the person not the thing he drives that keeps the roof over his/ families head.

Large, fast, comfortable, reliable and nice to drive, economy would be nice but not vital, BMW 5 series would fit the bill. I am however past middle age.
