i've got a load of rhubarb so was going to make a chutney. What else would go? I've got tons of carrots too and wondering if they would go together as they are sweet aren't they? Maybe grated?
believe it or not, mango. boxtops beat me to ginger, which is very nice too, I'd cooked some mangoes and made chutney and had some left over when all my little jars were full so I added some cooked rhubarb and put it in 1lb jars - very nice with cheese or cold meats
ah yes, i thought a few would say ginger. I'm not too keen myself, so was looking for alternatives. I've done chutney before but never jam, isn't it tricky?
