Recently, whenever I search on Google on my iPad it returns results from American sites. What have I done to it and how do I fix it so that it shows results from UK sites (I haven't messed with anything). Thanks.

Silly question, but are you putting in google.com or .co.uk. I've found this makes a mahoosive difference on mine.
By the way sherr, go and put Blue Bloods on your planner for Tues. x

Hi RR - the Google thing on an ipad is a little search bar put there for you by Apple.

Thanks for the reminder about Blue Bloods, will have to wait for tonight's to start to do it though.
I don't use that side bar thingy, go into the bit where you www. put the .co.uk one in there and load it. I then added it to the apps pages, so I just click on google from there now. There probably is a setting in it somewhere, I'll have a lookey.

I am using google uk so I think it must be something to do with my google settings (I have had a look but can't see anything obvious).
Go to Settings | General | international | Language and make sure its set to British English not "English"

then open Safari

and type www.google.com in the url bar not the search one.

scroll right to bottom of page and it will sayGo to google.co.uk click on it/

thats it.
