Porridge is very good, and also apples as these are long acting glucose. not sure what your asking about couldn't get that page, around 7-8 is ok as normal it is difficult and varies but a good normal diet good B'fast the best bread is Allisons as if you look at bread labels some have glucose dextrose, also beans and peas are good. need some glucose so don't go hypo, always have some sugar or chocolate with me just in case. it depends on what medication as suggested discuss it with carer. Have a nice christmas and enjoy a mince pie,
Oops, sorry 'bout that. This is the product I noticed. Not too sure what all that GI index stuff is all about. Wondered if it is a gimmick. http://www.capenutraceuticals.co.uk/ It is not letting me paste the proper link but the product is called ASSIST.
hi sunflower I looked at the site you posted and you could ask for a free sample to try out but I would stick to diet I forget to say the best things by far for keeping blood sugar down is LEEKS and ONIONS try them and see. it doesn't say the exact formula of this product and as I said depends on medication and any interaction with anything else. but as I said porridge apples and above are excellent (Have worked 36yrs in medicine) and was a shock to me when I discovered was diabetic but with a good diet it's manageable
