We have about 20 theists who contribute to Answer Bank so surely they can answer my simple question.

When Noah released all the animals on top of Mount Ararat or wherever
what did they live on ? The world was dead, all living organisms , plants and animals had been drowned by God's flood.

Nowadays whenever land is inundated with water for more than a few days it takes years to recover. So what happened to Noah's family and all those animals. How did they survive ?

goodlife, you have read the bible carefully so maybe you can tell me
the answer even if the other theists can't.

1. I want to know who swept out the effluence every day, lot of animals
locusts is good question ,what happened to all the effluents but when you think about it is quite logical. Most insects in the world today eat effluents leaves and many other things so as they were all in there for a long period of time , all the species would emerge from Ark . If approximately, hundreds ,and do anybody else have good thoughts like this .
Locusts, //do anybody else have good thoughts like this .//

Doubt many around here have thoughts like that.
I would try to explain my thoughts in the way which is understandable //what was taking in by 7 was clean and two unclean // food was green vegetation or even fruits. And this must be a lot . The account says that the animals went into ark by two. It doesn't say the age of these animals // but like the large animals elephant.hippopotamus //what they were young // like these animals they would've been pregnant before or after entering the ark . At this time of the flood it would suggest that all the animals was vegetarian and not carnivals.. The milk would've been feed to the young newborn animals. // the effluents from other animals is to food for others//insect world. It does not give us the full detail and account //it gives us the necessary information.. So this is a possibility
I don't know where you got the idea that all the animals were vegetarian, but overlooking that, we end up with even more creatures aboard the ark creating an even bigger problem in disposing of the waste - and bearing in mind the time factor, with only mouldy fruit and vegetables to feed them. And where did the carnivores that inhabit the earth today come from? Your logic seems somewhat flawed, Locusts.

// I have a happy and successful life – most importantly I love and am loved in //

I am happy for you. And I hope it stays that way for you.

One thing is certain, the haughty, arrogant, sanctimonious attitude that you display will ensure that you won't be living in the new world. Only those who display the qualities described at Micah 6 v 8:
8 He has told you, O earthling man, what is good. And what is Jehovah asking back from you but to exercise justice and to love kindness and to be modest in walking with your God?
Truthabounds, //One thing is certain, the haughty, arrogant, sanctimonious attitude that you display will ensure that you won't be living in the new world. //

If that's an example of your Christian love, I consider myself fortunate.

Read Matthew 7:1-5 - and take a good, hard, look at yourself.

If you are to live in God's New World there is one further requirement not mentioned by Micah and carelessly not alluded to by Truthabounds: no amount of kindness, just dealing and modest walking will spare you at Armageddon. You must also believe everything the leaders of the Watchtower Society tell you unquestioningly. With your eponymous concern for honesty you don't deny this do you, Truthabounds?

Locusts I didn't say they were not carnivals // but if you look at this situation they could live off the vegetation.//also if you go down to your local zoo where you have some big cat's and ask the keeper // what they fed them on // in the second world war you will find that they were fed green vegetation most of the time //obviously //when there was sum meets around it was given to the Big cat's but for five years or six they live off of green vegetation //if I'm correct.
Once again it seems //like this woman has always live in the city and just goes down to her local shop and gets a //bottled //milk //sugar// off-the-shelf she has no idea of farming or farm life// and //nearest she got to a farm is on the TV //farmers make silage// haystack //which can last up to years.//property action for their fruits //storage// can last at least two years under the right conditions //obviously

Irrespective of what the animals were fed on, or for how long, as has repeatedly been pointed out, an ark of the dimensions specified could not be built and withstand a journey on water. Then, simple facts do not appear to matter to the imbeciles who persist in trying to defend this borrowed myth as fact.
Locusts, // I didn't say they were not carnivals//

You mean carnivores – and yes … you did.

//At this time of the flood it would suggest that all the animals was vegetarian and not carnivals..//

Your hypothesis is nonsense - as is the story.
Naomi@ //Read Matthew 7:1-5 - and take a good, hard, look at yourself.//

Thats a laugh coming from you! BTW I am not judging. I leave that to a much higher authority.
Truthabounds, but you are judging - continually - and if you believe what you claim to believe and understand as much as you say you do, I'm surprised you find it funny. Perhaps you should think again.
