Seeing this, albeit in the Daily Mail, and more expected, especially on the day of the funeral, do you think this will be jumped upon as another excuse by some to get out and cause trouble:

who then. because all i see it people being critical because you don't want to jump on the bandwagon of protesters. I will watch the service on tv most likely, out of harms way.

This is about the funeral though, not protests about cuts to the disabled.

On a general note though, taking part in a peaceful process is very different from putting yourself in harm's way if there are idiots about intent on just causing trouble and criminal damage.

Having seen some of the things I have round here, and ending up in the middle of two mobs when the Manchester riots kicked off, I was terrified and it's not an experience I wish to repeat. Being disabled, it's not like I can get out the way (or anywhere) very fast and don't fancy my walking stick being viewed as a potential weapon.

interestingly, very little of the report is attibutable, with information said to come from insiders, social media, police intelligence, and other anonymous sources. It would be ironic if after all that nothing happened.
