It seems that we have had a narrow escape. We nearly had to change August Bank Holiday to Margaret Thatcher Day ! Don't get me wrong, we were glad of our extra Bank Holiday in March this year here in Wales but that is as far as it goes please.
"Peter Bone was loudly heckled by Labour MPs and he was left with only nine seconds to finish speaking."
They were too lenient, imo he should've been beaten mercilessly, whipped and then put in the stocks for a few months for even thinking of such a thing let alone saying it loud and in public.
Now be honest, would all these Big Butch Blokes (much better than a woman in their opinion) really want an annual reminder of the time they were soundly thrashed by a woman with more cojones than the lot of them put together?
"Cojones" I'm sure the families of the many coal miners who lost their homes, jobs and eventually lives and whose repercussions still blight them today will all have a warm chuckle as they recall their fond memories at that.
