I am flying tomorrow morning, will there be extra holdups at Heathrow /aer Lingus due to terrorism/mobiles being checked etc? Wondering whether to get there earlier than two hours ...

Aer Lingus recommends allowing 2½ hours for all European flights (from any airport).

That should be ample, even at Heathrow.
