The Doctor returns......soooo looking forward to Peter Capaldi as the new Doctor, wasn't a massive fan of Matt Smith good as he was I think Capaldi will bring something spectacular to the role...... I see him as the new Tom Baker!

I am very much looking forward to this. Hoping Peter Capaldi will bring it back to be a show for the whole family, rather than a children's show which it seemed to turning into; and cut out all the flirty stuff.

To be fair to Matt Smith he had some pretty terrible scripts to work with. Hope they get that sorted this series.

Can't wait. I have watched Dr Who since it began (not as often in my late teens with Sylvester McCoy when it was scandalously moved to a week day!!) Loved Matt Smith but David Tennant was my favourite. Looking forward to Peter Capaldi. I like him.

I think I might watch this, after a long break from DW. Tom Baker was my favourite. I liked Christopher Eccleton, too, but went off it when David Tennant came in. Never saw Matt Smith.

I can remember William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee. Pertwee was my favourite.

Tom Baker was "my" doctor but have liked them all, of the recent one DT and Chris Eccleston were great, wasn't so struck on Matt Smith too quirky but better than some in the past...... Can't wait Capaldi will be superb
