I Despair!

Just been reading a story in my local rag.

"Two girls have appeared in court charged with a murder that was committed when they were 13 and 14. The teenagers did not enter pleas to the murder of Angela Wrightson, 39, whose body was discovered at her home in Stephen Street, Hartlepool, in December."

Call me old fashioned (or an old f***) but when I was this age I was still wearing ankle socks (child of the 50s) and barely knew what a court was.

I am with you Maggie. That is a dreadful thing to do, by girls so young. When I was their age my parents knew where I was, and what I was up too.

Dreadful Maggie, having read up a bit , seems poor Angela had been plagued and terrorised by the local teens.

Such cruelty - sickening.

It's very sad. Even when I was that age, in the 90s, although a quiet country village upbringing can have it's differences.

We seem to have had a few instances now of sex offenders being early teenage boys.
