dried chillis

I dried some chillis from my prairie fire plant (quite hot) and now I don't know how to use them, are they hotter dried? and should I have taken the seeds out first.

can anyone recomend a deep fat fryer that cooks at a greater heat than usual, one that will cook fish in batter, brown but not over done, I find that mine is either brown and dry or pale but cooked...
