MDF Shelf Unit - Screw or nail ?

I'm making a small MDF shelf unit - can I fix together with nails ? (If so what sort ?) or do I have to use screws ?   Many Thanks

Problems with DVD Drive reading DVD-ROMs

My DVD drive no longer recognises DVD-Roms but does not have a problem with CD-Roms. As a technophobe - What should I do ? I am running XP Home. Many Thanks
