Ratty was spot on re getting it to work on iPad but as has just been mentioned the pages are a tad slow in loading - I get the top half of the page first and then the lower half appears

Is there any chance the latest posts box can move to the right? There is a wide right edge margin (or are there ads going there?) A bit irrelevant to many but I'd have games like freecell or spider solitaire running all the time and I could still see latest posts - now I have to have the games too small to see or miss half the box :-(

Quiz lower your zoom settings and turn down the monitor brightness level if you have to. But on a sunny day the screen is easier to read by far.

On a "big" screen there's quite a lot of wasted space - for example, going to the header page for a topic, the "Latest posts" sit to the right, and there's an awkward area of desert in the middle until you get to the posts. On a mobile device it is fine.
I guess that is the "one size fits all" design. Not a huge issue.

I've had 10mins or so to find my way around the site and I think it's a big improvement on the old mobile one. Navigation is far easier and best answer can now be seen.

How will clearing cookies and history affect my use of other sites? I would hate to lose auto login for example, for all my usual sites.

Maydup because Ctrl F5 didn't work for me I gave in and took the advice to clear my cache (which I've never done). It cleared the problems on this site but I have lost all my auto log-ins to other sites and I'm now trying to recall my log-ins and passwords. More than irritating.

How often are the stats refreshed? It's certainly an awful lot longer than every 15 minutes.

Well ..... I went away and came back to the ipad, did a simple screen refresh and everything is working fine now. Something must have caught up with itself without me having to clear my history or cookies. I'm pleased I didn't rush to do that and lose my logins.

Sorry to hear you lost your history Prudie, there really should be a health warning on clearing cache. I would be in no mood to reboot my entire life for the sake of a better layout here.
