my dad did that for his 21st (many people did), but I don't fancy wearing dentures.

Dentist says if it upsets me I could try just taking half a pill, which I will probably do without waiting for the storm.

I seem to get little infections very easily, always have - face, legs, gums, pretty much all over. Mostly just pimples but occasionally get worse. I suspect they're the things that have wrecked my teeth over the years.

I do wash!

I have just been out to a concert of local folks, singer and musicians, in aid of a local cancer support facility. A bit of a curate's egg but for a good cause. Now digesting my late supper

good morning all- Mr N has upped and gone on his merry way to get the ferry to Denia. I have changed the throws on the settees and then hija gets up for the first time in years, and plonks herself on the clean settee, will be grubby with chocolate etc in an hour!

Seems sunny out. Cat is now behaving purrfectly, hope she stays well behaved. I think she must have eaten some pork scraps that we had.

Jno I was thinking about how all our parents had false teeth, on one hand it must have been nice, even white teeth with ne'er a toothache, but on the other hand, I think my teeth would be falling out of my mouth at every opportunity. My uncle hated his, and always took them out to eat, can you imagine doing that here?

Will get up and go out for brekkie in a min.

I went to sleep at 22.30 and slept til 3.00am when I could still hear the rock concert going on in the square, I listen on the patio and thought for a min if I should belt down there for some fun, but luckily I didn't cos it stopped early at 3.20. I feel so sorry for the people that live in the village, they can't possibly have slept.

looking grey here, rain on the way (but they said that yesterday and it never happened), and I am floating over London like a Zeppelin thanks to metronidazole; only the string round my ankle keeps me tethered.

Morning all from a cool and breezy Derby. The blossom's raining down, or should I say snowing down, shame it doesn't last very long.

Ouch jno, that sounds sore, I hope it heals pdq. Until her final few years my mum had great teeth, perfectly even, and she hated them. She said they looked false and preferred teeth 'with character'. I told her with the aid of a chisel and grinding saw it could be arranged. :)

I hate noise at night, I can usually hear a pin drop although the pulsating tinnitus seems to be overriding most sounds at the moment, it's driving me doolally.

am bored, have done 5 loads of washing, bedding, throws, all bath stuff, all clothes stuff, have eaten too well and feel sick. I love being on my own when I know someone is coming back but hija will prob disappear for a day and Mr N for a week.

Lol..neti ..if you're bored you can come round here .I have a basket of washing staring at me that needs folding up and putting away ,a lawn that needs cutting ,some windows needing cleaning ,curtains needing washing ,dinner needing cooking ,and nails that need varnishing .
I'm in cba mood today :)

WHAT!!! a lawn that needs cutting???? I have some very messy and weedy land, but that doesn¡'t come into anything.

Just had a cuppa and a choccy biscuit, and am watching Miss Marple, with the one I don't like, looks younger than me, no not at all Miss Marpleish.

I feel a bit scarlet actually .I've got a bloomin' cold sore coming on my lip .
How on earth has that happened .I think I was about 17 the last time I had a cold sore .Tut ..

Horrible aren't they shaney, I get quite a few, but then I pick my lip. I find superdrug cold sore cream the beast, better than aciclovor. (sp)

Have sewn all the cushion covers back on. I've been doing for for a few years now, it would be easier in the end to replace the zips but cba.

Well I've hoovered all through, spoken to Mr N, now eating and heating up the rest of the chips to have with egg, oh yummy!
