I did hang it on the line to take a piccy, but that's as far as it has got.

Fireplanes overhead for a while, but they were only practising their routes to the sea, always over my villa as it's lower than othe others. terrifies me.

woofgang, since you were asking, the idea was that Jesus was supposedly 30 when he died. So women were portrayed at the same age in their tomb effigies to suggest that they'd be suitable brides of Christ in the next life. About as reliable as saying "beautiful 30-year-old" on a dating website, I suppose.

Morning all..cloudy but it's ok-ish. Yesterday afternoon was fabulous, so warm. First time this year I've been to the shops without a coat. Had a good night's sleep...and now I can't wake up. I can't win.

Lovely dress neti, very boho. You don't need much going on in your hair with that, a simple burgundy flower clip if need be.

I wasn't going to watch Happy Valley last night (6 parts, Sarah Lancashire, BBC1) but I'm glad I did, it was good.

That's interesting Jno and spooky ..lol .I read an article very recently about the tomb of Blanche Mortimer which they reckon is one of the most beautiful effigies.
