I am English, and I live in North Wales, The annoying thing is that we pay more for our water here than Liverpool or Birmingham, also the way land was taken at Capel Celyn to supply Liverpool, made me ashamed to be English,it was so Bl00dy arrogant without a single thought to the people that lived there, So I hope that it never happens again, ever, Ray

Water will become an ever more valuable resource in future years and I think it inevitable that Wales and Scotland will be called upon to supply other parts of the UK with vast quantities of water.
I would hope Welsh and Scottish parliamentarians prove canny enough to ensure their constituents are well compensated for the sacrifices they may be called upon to make and that both countries begin to view fresh water as a valuable export commodity.
Is Capel Celyn the submerged village I saw a documentary about some years ago, raysparx1?
