Flowers on a fig?

I have a nice brown Turkey fig tree in a pot. I get about six figs a year and very nice they are too. BUT I have never seen any flowers on my fig tree, just suddenly tiny figs appear. So...do figs flower and if so when and what do the flowers look like? and if figs don't flower, where do the tiny figs come from??

hello all, have had a busy weekend. The home network went down, then Mr W lost a file and we have been searching for it over 5 computers (don't ask)
I think that its getting colder in hampshire too, my robins are all feeding together in amity (five of them) and the bird food vanishes in 30 mins instead of lasting all morning
I have been popping in and out and rofl at Vinny getting his own back on Robinia
Got to go Mr W has lost something else....dores anyone else have an other half whocan't find his backside if he uses both hands to look for it??
Well dinner is over, and all went well. Am now washing up whilst Mr N dozes in front of tv and fire. He has the nerve to tell he he's golfing again next weekend so I'm having to do lunch again I DON'T THINK SO.
Am finishing off and then having a lully hot bath and then napping in front of fire. See you all later.
Hope you're all enjoying you Sunday afternoon. I'm relaxing with the Sunday papers and crosswords. Also expecting my son to ring.we have a chat every Sunday as he lives along way away. My other son lives round the corner so will probably have a chat to him later on tonight.

Robinia hope the bird counting went well. My sons fiancee does that too. They have lovely birds in their garden. She really encourages them. When I look after their house for them I have a list of special things I have to feed them!!

Jude... you paste in the address and hit the space bar... then you can go back and highlight the whole thing (drag the arrow over it or whatever your screen provides for ... then you just write the word you want over top of the highlighted words. It will still be a link, red and underscored. Just one word, the space bar breaks it - but when you're done, you can then go back and insert spaces if you want more than one word.
