It seems we're not getting any changes on AB 'til after xmas so I've set up a grotto for us. Sorry it's a bit like a scene from Great Expectations but I've sprayed a few cobwebs silver & blown the dust off me doileys so please come in & sit down.
What do all the biddies/grumps want to find in their wrinkly stockings this year then? Do you like all this festivity or will you be the grumpy gran/grandpa from hell this year?
Please feel free to take a present out of the bran tub as you leave by the way. Contents may be unidentifiable....oops sorry...be varied.

Just to say will be in Biddygrotto more when all the fiestas have finished over here, but at moment no idea what is happening from one day to the next (except for tomorrow AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME THEN) so don't think that I have lost interest, will be back on form soon.

goodness, just realised it is my first birthday. In the past year I have had 2 dental emergencies and one course of physiotherapy (not for the teeth), been to Zanzibar and the Eden Project, given 4287 answers, and... errr... well, not a lot to show for a year, is it?

Well I'm back, the xmas decs are gone, the xmas tree is gone and the tooth is gone. Feels like he has extracted the wrong one but will look in a minute, am too frightened at mo. I behaved disgustingly, you would all have been ashamed of me, I wimped, I sweated, I swore at him and it didn't even hurt, had 3 anesthetic injections (big mouth, big tooth) now am feeling fine at present, no doubt will be in absolute agony when all feeling comes back. All together now ......ahhh poor neti!!!

Morning all and very well done neti!! Have a nice cuppa but drink it with a straw (can you get decent tea?) & some pain killers before the pain kicks in. It's amazing how soon it's actually over but at the time it feels like forever. Longest time I spent 'in the chair' was one & three quarter hours!!!!! I was having a bridge done & if I'd known how long it would take I doubt I'd have gone for it.

Well done jno too for being here a yr & so many answers!!

Afternoon all. Glad to see you're all still here in varying degress of fitness! It's all over now Neti The worst part is done. Well, I've cleaned right through downstairs. Not much sign of Christmas except the odd mince pie, a few bottles of booze crisps biscuits and boxes of chocolates. It'll take me to Easter to finish them off. I'm now going to tackle upstairs!

Just found 'Saga' on the radio. So I feel really old now! I think I've got the after Christmas blues or something!

Nice to have you back Smudge. Grieving takes a while but I hope with the help of your family and friends you come through it alright and that in some small way we can help.

Hi Robinia and all....I haven't done anything round the house.Need to take deccies and stuff down but can't get motivated. I have a washing basket full of socks that need to paired up and put away and it has been stood in my bedroom for days now .

Saga was depressing me so I've gone on to my CDs. Enjoying Andrea Bocelli at the mo. Can't understand a word he's singing about but he's so soothing! It's just the accent I suppose. I do have the translations which I've read but cant remember them all. it's bad enough trying to remember in English never mind Italian!!
