Morning everybody.Hope you're feeling better today Robinia and your foot is on the mend Jno.

Had a great night last night the man who was singing used to be in Paper Lace and he was very good, played some terrific dance tunes. Rock and Roll,Disco, the lot. Had to wind down when I got in so I watched 'The Others' with Nicole Kidman with my Horlicks!! Thought iust was very good it kept me guessing til the end! See you all later! :o)

I know what you mean Jude ....you can get away with a lot in cyber world that you wouldn't generally do in normal life !
Not that I would intentionally upset anyone ..but some of the things I see on here sometimes make me see red. I would imagine that most are quite normal people but use a medium such as this to vent their frustration at things ! I am quite a quiet person but have to admit to being a bit silly at times.Probably live in the past and think I am still at school !!

Shaney Apart from Brian's site and this one I don't join in any others. I find the Biddies, funny, friendly, and sometimes very helpful especially at lonely times. I may not sound as though I get them because I go out a lot, but I do occasionally need some sort of communication and can't always be at my sister's can I?!! So it's thanks to Robinia who isn't a million miles from me I have to thank for starting all this off :o)

Quite agree Jude..since we moved here to Norfolk these threads have been a lifeline for me.I left a whole life behind me in London and have found it difficult to settle here. Two and a half years on and I still don't feel at home although I have a lot of family here.My family are smashing and I am included in all family do's etc and my brother who lives nearby is an angel but I miss my friends and the social life I had there.

I shouldn't moan ...it's not as if I am alone..there is Mr.S and my son who is still more or less at home but I get most depressed at times .i miss my old schoolfriends who were within an hour away from me in London and my quiznite crew.
We used to have some laughs.I did venture to a quiznite here once with my son ..and because we won we were called allsorts . They sussed we weren't local and made a fuss.I took the ten quid winnings and threw it on the bar in disgust and walked out !!

Yes..robinia ..very strange..haven't seen her on AB at all..in any categories.Perhaps her computer is up the creek.Mind you I believe her Mum is quite elderly now so perhaps she may have some family things going on.

Robinia I think with this virus you do feel quite low. I went really sad and emotional because of being confined to the house also I don;t think the weather has helped much. Come on Spring - where are you?

My dwarf daffs are doing very well but the taller ones are lagging behind......poor things have almost had their heads blown off today, I hate windy weather. And my winter honeysuckle has only just come into full bloom.....it's been in full swing by January some years.
