Ever wondered what AB Ed did in her spare time? Me too... until I was wandering in the bazaars of Damascus the other day and saw <A target='_blank' href="http://img328.imageshack.us/my.php?image=abed7yt.jpg& ;quot;>this</A>. Crafty, eh?

Thanks for the welcome and thanks for the pint, Jude. It's a bit early in the day at the moment but i'll drink it later. What is it about the link that puzzles you ?(excuse the pun)
Must go now, to do my Big Monday Xword.
Cheers.
Hi there PuzzlesRus (Brian) I have tried to read through the weekend's threads and work out how you came to find us and the connections with Robinia, Jude and Shaneystar. However, being an old Biddie means my brain don't work very well and I can't take it all in.
Welcome, anyway. I hope you will stay. We need some more male company. Vinny needs a breather now and then from being chased around by us old gals!
I must go into QandP more often. I just have the awful feeling that if I start going there I will never get out!
See you soon, hopefully. Take care. x
Gessoo As regards how I found the Biddy community, it's really down to Jude, who found my web page and contacted me about crossword questions. I noticed that her username had cropped-up in Q&P, did a search to confirm and this thread came-up.
As regards the graphic you have just posted. I did realise what I might be letting myself in for :-)
What a dumbo I am ! - I missed-out an underscore character in the URL - It should have been http://members.lycos.co.uk/bri_tal
Sorry Jude and Gessoo no wonder you were puzzled.
Thanks Brian. I am on may way out now but will have a good look through your site later. Nice to see what you look like! We obviously around the same sort of age. Although you are probably a bit older than me if you were in the army in 1955! Welcome to the Biddies. I thought you were going to be a mere youngster!
Hello All been to Leicester today with a friend then when we came back I went into Derby to shop. You know retail therapy! Bought some shoes - can't resist. Brian I can't see your piccies, my putta tells me I can't get Java - tell me what to do please! I know Chester quite well I think it's a lovely city and I have very fond memories.
The weather has been lovely all day today and feeling really Spinglike for a change.
Hope everybody is alright especially Robinia, as you;ve not been around today. I've just been across the road to see how my friend is and I can't make her hear me so she must be in bed still feeling poorly. I don't know what to do for the best really whether to ring and ask if I can do anything or just leave her in peace.
Shaneystar I have MSIE 6.0 but still no go with hyperlinks. I love the
Skeleton is my favourite, followed by Private Eye (the latter being a bit irreverent)
Jude If you are using Windows XP, and Internet Explorer, then the chances are that this did not include provision for Java applets. when originally shipped, due to a copyright dispute. This being the case, you would need to download the Java software from
