Came home a bit earlier than normal - disco a bit naff. Should have stayed on board you sound like you've had a good time.
Lol Brian. Liked your tale - must remember that one for work. :o)
stumbles in wearing bag on head......
morning shipmates.....I'm wearing this as a precautionary measure, due to a dangerously low supply of nivvee which I'm trying to eke out until tomorrow. After 25 yrs of holding back the wrinkles I could at any moment suddenly sprout a face like a withered balloon. Maybe a tighter hairnet will act as a temporary facelift.
Hope you're not feeling withered this morning Jude after the party.
Right, I'm just going to peg me bloomers onto the mast & then I'm off to Ed's office, to retrieve my banned posts, & I'll be discussing suitable punishments for a couple of ABers mentioning no names.
ooh that squirrel's a demon, he must be one of those mean greys that are driving our mild-mannered reds to the wall. Had a super day yesterday - birthday lunch for a friend at an Italian restaurant that went on for hours. My body mass index reading demonstrates that I am now 77% pure pasta, the rest being Italian wine.
Morning biddymates. Nice day here not too rough.Might go for a stroll round the deck or along the canal path depending which sort of boat we're on!!
Hope you are all ok. Well done Shaney on your win. I do the Express puzzles on a Sunday but I'm always consulting Brian though I do manage to do them sometimes don't I Brian?!
Hi Robinia & Jno.
Shaney Thanks for the link. An interesting history. The nearest I've been, is on a trip to Norwich, with brief excursions to Cromer in the north and Lowestoft to the south. What intrigued me about the area was the number of buildings made of flintstone.
As you say, it is not always cols and windy and, indeed, on the occasion I visited, the area was about the hottest in the country, with parched lawns everywhere.
Hey Biddymates!
Just wanted to drop in and ask if you could make a few ABers walk the plank for me? Ha!
Vinny & Robinia put down that weapon!
The last time I was in Gorleston Shaney was when I was 21. We stayed in a flat, and if I remember right there were some gardens in front and then the prom then the sea. I had a good week with my sister and her family and my Mum and Dad. About 16 years ago I had a week in Overstrand in a caravan. That was a tiny place and I visited a lot of the places along that coast and I liked Cromer especially.
