They're up and down and in and out all the time Neti; I haven't listened to the news today but you can follow the drama here - latest news on top http://www.thelocal.se/piratebay/ Their site looks "up" to me though. The domain is org - is that the same address you have for them?

LOVE those sandals Robi. If I found them comfy I'd buy them at once.

That's one purdy Lottie:) Now I knooow I'm being a pain in the proverbial but I couldn't resist making it lighter http://i49.tinypic.com/npjn1l.jpg
hello all, another quiet day at the towers. DH needed new biking boots and gloves so we went off shopping today. He is over the bug and picking up nicely I am glad to say. I had my gob stitiches out yesterday so gob is back in full working order.
I anyone else getting weather headaches? No big deal, just inconvenient.

Thank you for that link Swedie, appreciate it as I do download tv progs from there.
Morning flip-flops...sunny, 16C and rising fast here...sorry about the whiff of self-tan, I found it in the bathroom cupboard. I may have had it a while so anything could happen.
Yes woofy, I mentioned my headache yesterday...had one every a'noon for the past 3 days, I hope I'm not in for another one today :o(

Well I've been called some things in my time, and it has to be said I've had some, erm, 'uncomfortable little ailments' but I received an email this morning (junk) which started....

"Dear firends:
we are wholesalers of guiter in china......"

'firend'....hahahahaha

Oops, sorry neti, I meant to answer your Q about Lewis but I was sidetracked by shoes...Kit I'd send for those & many others if I could be sure of them (I didn't see those in the shop) but shoes are difficult to buy over the internet. Actually I'm not sure I'd cope with the ankle-straps, I have 'ankle strap' pain when I'm not wearing any..

Morning all, well I overdid the tanning yesterday and have two very pink cheeks and look ridiculous. I was pondering on putting on the old self tan, but, like yours Robi, mine are old and I really, really hate the smell, makes me feel quite ill. Even Johnson's Holiday Skin with no smell, smells after a year!! So will have to plod on with the ole burning! Have bought another pair of shoes today (that's 3 this week) they are royal blue patent ballet shoe type thing, and they match a lovely blouson top which I bought last summer.

Hope you are all feeling better with no headaches and no swollen legs. I am fine apart from cheeks that glow in the dark!!!

ah, the sun is shining, I am halfway to a new crown on a tooth, I am going to a birthday party tonight miles away... who has time for the internet?
http://icanhascheezbu...08/ahhhh-caturday.jpg
Have a good time jno....yes the sun's been shining all day here...quiate naice in the shade but out the front the path melted me flip flops (I found some under the wardrobe I got free with a fashion mag a few yrs ago - have been practising walking in 'em & now managing to walk like a duck instead of a flat-footed duck)

...they're off with the bloomin' bbq's ...grrrr
Question Author
no but I ate all the Jersey royals...!! only 80p for a small bag from tescy
hello all. DH is having another sleeping day...not surprising as he had so many broken nights with the virus. happily he is eating and drinking much more and being sensible ie resting more not doing his celebrated impersonation of a blue bottomed fly on a caffeine jag.
I cleaned out my pond today. I thought i had lost all of my fish in the big freeze as for day afterwards, I would fish out one or two bodies a day :-(
Anyway i have two small survivors so next week when the pond has settled, I will go buy then some new friends. Its blooming hard work bailing out but I saw a dragonfly emerge from the larva which is amazing and I had never seen it for real before.
I have now showered off all the mud and stink and am enjoying a glass of aldi champers...14 quid a bottle and very nice too. I had a bit of a struggle with the cork so i rolled my eyes and said "God, why are you never around when i need a hand" I turned round to get a cloth and blow me if that stuck cork didn't fly out of the bottle as I turned away, that's what i call a prayer answered and yes i said thank you
The peak time for dragonflies (the whoppers) around here is July...Many years ago I was in the garden of mrs demanding & a couple of d'flies were swooping over their pond. Her husband watched for a minute, then quietly mumbled 'Mmm, this could get interesting'...and he fetched a chair, haha

<says a prayer for Clive owen to come round with a bottle of champers> :o)

I do not like champagne. I like Blanc Pescador (about 12 euros) it's a fizzy white wine and yes, I have no taste in wine whatsoever, if I like it I drink it no matter how much or how little it costs. topped up my redness today, really do not recognise me in the mirror, with such colour. I am freckled with red in the hair (well once)!!
Evening chickens
What a lovely day it's been .I've been bobbing up and down in the garden .I bob a bit then sit a bit ,then bob a bit .Get the picture ? I do it in time to the screaming minnies next door on their ruddy trampoline .I thought I'd seen the last of it but noooo,he's a bought another one with a net round to stop the little darlings falling out .

I'm still reeling from ATA .Did you see it Woofie .I was in tears at the end .She didn't get back and it was so sad . But Gene was brilliant .I shall miss him .

I hope you're all in fine fettle and enjoying the weather .I can do with this full on until September .Toodlepip for now .
I've got cheap Hock from Morrisons :))
Question Author
I think I like Hock and defo liebfraumilch!!!
I like cherry lambrini as well DH is ashamed of my low tastes
Yes i just watched A2A and thought it was a really good ending. I reckon that in time, Gene will resolve his issues about being shot and not being kept an eye on as a plod and he'll go in the pub and Alex will be waiting.
Question Author
I have joined the Over 50's club in CB and they have silver salvers and blue tailcocks to drink.
Question Author
I don't know Woofie ,he had his feet up on the desk and was leafing through a booklet for Mercedes Benz cars after the Quatro was murdered ! Be nice to think he steps into the pub 'cos they'll all be there . But he's a maverick and a loner .
I had a feeling about the rasta guy from Life on Mars that he was a sort of spirit guide .That was a brilliant bit of acting from the guy who played Keats though .I thought he was the devil when he got to the dead and dying before Gene did.
It was just brilliant and I may go and buy the whole thing including LOM on DVD and watch it all over again .
