Does anybody know the rest of this lullaby?

"Do You want the stars to play with?

or the moon to run away with?

They'll be yours if you don't cry"

All google has come up with is an album by a canadian indie band!!

Thanks

Hiya everybiddy. I'm feasting on a big bowl of porridge and toast and tea and coffee wonderful. The nurse asked me if I was eating a sweet and I said no I'm just pretending. I didn't really- I just felt like it!.thanks for the chips Robi - I think that's what I'll for ny next meal.
I'm not fibbing about that puzzle though I really did it and was deterimined not go to bed til I had.
My plumber who was supposed to come the other day and didn't is coming later when I've let him know I'm in to do my outside tap at last.
Have a good day whatever you're doing, it's beautiful here now. Laters 'gaters!

hello all, yes I will be able to eat tonight, so long as its nothing bitty or hard. mouth healing again and i fell less grumpy which is nice.
Jude I am glad you are now eating again, I really can't fast, it makes me go all woozy....at least that's my excuse :-)
got to go, housework awaits (sigh)
Well I'll be living on fresh air from now on by the look of things .My doctor thinks I have a gall bladder problem and I may have to have an ultrasound .Also my kidney function isn't quite right .
So I have to wean myself from being a coffee junkie and have a low fat diet and no inkahol .Deep joy.
I'm my own worst enemy really. Yesterday I bought warm bread from the bakers ,larded it with butter and jam, scoffed it down and then wondered why I was cramped up in pain all day and dashing to the small room .

Mr S still can't pee so he's coming home today with the catheter and he'll be reviewed in a couple of weeks .
Lovely day here .Hope you are all OK and whatever you are up to take care .
Hugs to you all.
I'm going to put a paper bag over my head and sulk .
.

Sorry to hear that Shaney...I had to chuck up the inkahol as well its a regular pain in the butt...food isn't important at all till you can't have it :-(
You'll feel heaps better though.
Shaney, if it is any consolation my kidney function was 'not quite right' on a couple of occasions but at my last check up was spot on. My doc. told me that the new kidney function tests show up things that would never have been spotted and are really of not much consequence, but he has to follow things up.

I am not suprised you are having all sorts of problems with your health after what you have been through over the last year or so!!

Last month I was having chronic pains just below my ribs and getting dreadful indigestion, acid reflux and felt continuously nauseous. You wil remember how I was moaning on the biddiethread!! I was about to go to the doctors, but cut down on rich food and fat for a few days and took Gaviscon and fortunately it sorted itself out.

Am keeping my fingers crossed for Mr SS. I bet the poor man is so fed up.

Chin up, Shaney!! We'll meet up as soon as you feel you want to - just give me a day or so's notice.

We loves yer!! Please don't put that paper bag over your head!!

GRRRR was going to catch up with the housework today and have ended up spending big chunks of it on the phone (mobile) to BT because our phone line isn't working...got broadband but no phone contact. you have to run around the house disconnecting and reconnecting things to be sure its not your fault then when I finally got through to a real engineer he said oh yes have seen your line test results that can't be you its a fault on the line you might not have phone till monday.
Isn't the sun lovely though?
Shaney take time for you now (just a bit) and get metter.

Oh the mad scientist has obviously decided twas not I the stunning one, as he has not been heard of since!!!
*metter??* mejor = better x
My brother took me to collect him .He looks washed out .Now we've got the district nurse palaver again for the foreseeable future .Sigh ..........
He did manage to go but not enough .
Oh bugger .....am I fed up to the back teeth with all this .
Question Author
Nothing to add Shaney except I absolutely understand where you are coming from. You just want everything to stop for an hour or so so that you can pull yourself together and then say okay I am ready to be strong again.......but of course life doesn't do that.
Try and be a bit gentle with yourself...come on here for a yell if you like...when DH was first diagnosed I went to the docs cos I had a suspected Lyme disease tick bite. She did a liver function test and spoke to me about my liver and the amount of alcohol I was chugging which wasn't by any means a lot.. About 2 doubles a night. Anyway I cut back, looked at my diet a bit and the measurements went back to normal. Chin up and march on x
One very huge hug coming your way Shaney. A really, huge, huge, huge, huge hug. You can ring me any time you like if you need to vent.

You have been through such a lot - both of you.

Add my very big hug to you too shaney, and of course one to Robi, and woofy!
And a big hug to you Neti too!

In fact hugs all round. We all deserve big hugs!!
you don't need hugs, you need pills. Now I just happen to have some pills here which if properly used will erase all the bad things from your memory. Obviously I haven't quite got it right yet as they just close your entire brain down for an hour. But I'm working on it. Once I've got the knack, I'll email some to everyone.

Good morning all, very pleasant night out last night, nice food (italian) good gossip.
Wishing everyone a good peaceful day.
Morning all...are we having a group hug, I could do with one? Sorry my hands are so cold, it's lovely outside but very chilly.
Try and take it easy whenever you can shaney...I've been investigated twice for gall bladder probs but it all seemed to be part of ibs. Stress can do awful things to you as we know, so hopefully in time your body will calm down. Looking back I don't know how we get through some of the things we do, like woofy says, at the time you want the world to stop while you gather your wits. Chin up xxx

I don't need fuzzy pills jno, my brain's already switching from auto pilot to panic mode at the moment. I'm just faffing about doing the necessary things but it's all an effort and I haven't done any housework for over a week but I did have some time in the garden yesterday, the weather was just lovely.

Ne'er mind about the mad scientist neti, did you really want to have to start wearing that Barbarella outfit again?

Charlie's ashes have arrived but I haven't opened them yet :o(
Good morning. jno's instant close down pills seem to be a good idea. I'll have some now jno. Closing down for a hour now and them would seem quite a good idea.

Lovely morning again and am considering whether I really need to go to Morrisons and Focus or can I leave it until tomorrow and just potter around at home. Decision will be made in due course.

Robinia it is two years ago tomorrow since my Mum died. I went and had a chat with her ashes yesterday. I wish I had my Dad's as well, but obviously it was my Mum's decision with what happened to them.

It will get easier Robi.

And yes I agree about the gall bladder type problems and IBS. They are so closely linked.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today Shaney and that Mr SS is keeping his spirits up - poor man.

Big Hugs to all again!! Sometimes hugs are better than pills jno!! We don't hug enough imho!!

Morning all, busy morningt, just catching up

BIG HUGS ALL ROUND!

Mr N has just bought me tickets for the Moscow Ballet "Swan Lake" here on 9th April, I am so excited, really love ballet and opera. Good seats too, 6 rows back and middle aisle!

Still very wintry here, but no rain, very blowy, just love it!
On the lunch time News and Weather today it was announced that Britain which is basking in sunshine is several degrees warmer than Ibiza!!
You are welcome to your several degrees Lottie, I wish twas ever thus! but without doubt we'll be basking in 30° + by June for several months. I'll be like a veritable mermaid frolicking in my pool, although unless I lose my michelin tyre midriff there will be Eureka, water displacement, and a tidal wave will flood down our land. It is really wintry here and I love it!!!
