Does anybody know the rest of this lullaby?

"Do You want the stars to play with?

or the moon to run away with?

They'll be yours if you don't cry"

All google has come up with is an album by a canadian indie band!!

Thanks

Robi, is it comforting to have Charlie's ashes, I would think it would be, even thought the little lad isn't there.
I couldn't cope with the Med. in the summer Nets. I could when I was younger, but not now. 20 degrees is fine for me. Was 18 at one point yesterday, buyt the evenings are still cold.
It wasn't too bad last year for some reason, maybe cos I had lost weight and was sunbathing. And with air con in the bedrooms, it is pleasant. Mind you cooking is a bind in the heat and we are not allowed to cook outside from May til Oct due to fire risks!!!
a'noon...well it's been beautiful weather here, sunny, blue skies & no wind, puta says 17C....between that or up to about 20/22C for the rest of the year would be perfik for me too.

Yes neti, I was surprised at the feeling I had when I opened the ashes, sad for a little while but very comforting.
I've just rec'd an email you sent neti that has Mondays date, did you really send it that long ago? Did you send it by sea? :o)
Good afternoon All. I hope you've all had a good day and the weather is lovely for you as it is here as Robi says.
Shaney I really don't know what to say except I am asking whoever is looking after me to look after you and give you both some help to cope. Just to say when I am at Tai Chi I have a lot of the time not speaking or thinking about mundane everyday things. I relax and do the Form and I think about people I know who have greater problems to cope with and I would like you to know that you are part of those thoughts. While the others are doiing another Form I just sit with my eyes closed and relax with those special thoughts. xxxx and a Big Hug All round from me too. Of course I have a chat with the my friends before and after but while I'm doing my thing they leave me to it.

I've christened my new tap this afto by washing my bins. If I tip them up just a bit and lean them against the wall under the tap - bingo - perfect for scrubbing them out. I hate mucky bins. I used to pay a £1 to have them done once a month but the men stopped coming.

I've been to Sainsburys this afto and bought a canvas bag in the sale for £2.50. It says on the front. LOVE LIFE & SHOPPING FOREVER. I'm not shouting that's how it's written. I forgot to take my list and had to walk up and down all the aisles checking everything - 'do I or don't I want'! By the way Robi I don't know if you know but Ossy Park are have a full scale clothes shop upstairs. Got that from a friend there who is going to be the Tu Manager. They are going to have a range by the Gok man. I don't know what his proper name is. Could be interesting.

I'm off now - so I'll see yer later 'gater(s)
Have just made a lovely beef stew with light fluffy dumplings (even though I can't get suet here, I use Baking powder) really nice. Hija is out, Mr N has just (!) come in and eating his lonely dinner, as I have already eaten, was just too hungry although normally I wait for him!

Was Midsomer called Death in the slow lane cos there are so may of the to choose from, and it is the newest on the list, but this could be an old one put on? Shall miss dear old Nettles if he isn't in it!

Hope mr s is comfortable, and shaney feeling better.

Hope Mr Woofy is feeling Ok, and you too woofy.

Dear old jude, never moans, justs get on with it!

Robi, what can I say, you are our leader and we all feel for you, one day you willo feel better!

jno, have a super holiday.

Has anyone heard anything from Vinny since Xmas?
Robi was it the memories email? Others got it earlier I think,

haven't seen him on here but he's still on the art website
Evening all
Thanks for your kind words everyone .I shouldn't be a moaning minnie .At least I still have my husband and should be grateful really . It's just all so tiring and I want him to be well..
Anyway ,nursie came round and he can manage alright so she just said to phone if they were needed or if he wants the catheter changed .So I don't have to be up at the crack of dawn to make sure the bathroom is spotless on a daily basis thank goodness.

So ,I took one of Jno's happy pills and spent this afto making a coffee and walnut cake for my brother who is 77 tomorrow .So we're round there for afternoon tea .

Glad to hear Charlie is home with you Robinia . It is a strange but comforting feeling xxxx

Yes that's the episode Neti .It was quite good .I like Neil Dudgeon but after years of Tom and Joyce Barnaby it was strange . The dog ,however ,stole the show .
Though the chap who produces it ( Brian True-May ) has resigned I think .So perhaps they may axe it .You never know .
Here's a little article about it for you
http://www.dailymail....goodbye-Midsomer.html

It's been another lovely day here weatherwise ,mild and brilliant sunshine all day.
Take care you lovely lot ,I'm off to bed .Sleep tight .
Morning all, neti clocking in! Weather still very cloudy.

Thanks for that ingo shaney, I have got the right one, will try to watch it tonight. How are you and mr s doing. Hope you are feeling better.

jno, thanks for those incredible photos, really amazing!

Robi, thinking of you x
*ingo* = info!
Waves to woofy, mr woofy and jude!
Morning all...ooh, these mornings are chilly, 4C it says. The warm afternoons are bringing on the blooms though, my neighbour's rhododendron's opening & I'm sure it's early.

Oh shaney, you're allowed to have a moan, you're only human. Ill health, our own or others, is so tiring. I'm glad you took time out to watch Midsomer but yes, twas a bit strange. I thought it might have been just me, I was tired, and I even nodded off at one point. I love neil Dudgeon and there was nothing wrong with his acting but Jones must have been on jno's happy pills, he was very hyper. Bad script I think but the dog was lovely & I will watch again.

Yes neti, it was the Memories email, no idea what held it up...maybe it forgot my address :o)
And thanks for those pics jno, I've been looking at them for ages. I'm disappointed that my dust's not that pretty though, must be in neti's house, all those psychedellic colours.

I'd heard that about Sains Jude, so that's my wardrobe requirements settled for the rest of my life then...mind you if Gok Wan's got anything to do with it we'll all be looking fabulous naked....? I think perhaps not.
Those eyelashes really freaked me out, horrid! I have an appointment for the Optitian in the hospital on April 16th (a saturday!) to remove a mole/wart/ beauty spot from my lower eyelid. They called me last night at 22hrs, I was surprised that they worked so late!
Lottie, have to say that I have just watched the first Mrs Browns Boys, I obviously watched them out of sequence (no 5 first) but that's cos I get from the internet and no idea what order they are in, so I get to see them before the TV! I really enjoyed it cos it made sense now.

morning all, have been running around this morning...car in garage getting its glow olugs changed...been shopping, pulled out and cleaned up barbecue and generally faffed...its beautiful here warm and sunny...wishing you all a lovely spring day.
Water has been off for at least 2hrs now and the gas bottle on the cooker has run out, and I just do not have the energy to lug one up from the storeroom down on our land, I'm thinking sausage and chips for dinner!!!

Really chilly here again!
Just phoned the water company (they insist on speaking pigeon english, couldn't understand a word!) and within 5 mins my water is trickling through the taps, which is better than nothing. I think someone keeps turning my meter off as it's in another road and another building and they probably think it's either their's or unoccupied, I am fed up with it. Sometimes I would like to live in a civilised place!

I just spent 20 hectic minutes clearing up a broken glass following an incident with a glass of wine (mine) and a wagging tail.... hope you've got your water back Neti.
Hiya Biddies.

Have had a nice day. Out with friend into town this morning for a bit of shopping. You can't do more than a bit of shopping in Fakenham because there are only a few shops. Then a lovely coffee and home made shortbread in a very nice coffee shop (we have quite of few of those) and then garden centre.

Have spent all afternoon in the garden putting down path weedkiller and doing some tidying up. All my bulb planting last autumn has paid off - the garden looks a picture!!

Now enjoying a cuppa before cooking a roast chicken meal!!

Hope you are all OK and that Mr and Mrs SS are feeling more relaxed. Am thinking of you both.

Have a good evening everybody (and I hope your water doesn't go off again Nets)

Much love
