Does anybody know the rest of this lullaby?

"Do You want the stars to play with?

or the moon to run away with?

They'll be yours if you don't cry"

All google has come up with is an album by a canadian indie band!!

Thanks

I should have said that I loved Vinny's picture of Charlie. You should have one framed Robbi. x
well, I did have a peculiar dessert last night. It was called "A Study in Passionfruit" and it was a couple of spoonfuls of the fruit, a dollop of passionfruit sorbet, a cube of vaguely passionfruit-flavoured sponge, some sort of passionfruit mousse, and all arranged artistically on a big plate with little lines of cream and mint leaves linking the separate items...

And my companion had a rhubarb doughnut, which turned out to be an ordinary doughnut with a sort of plastic syringe thingy stuck into it and filled with rhubarb juice. He had to squeeze the bulb on the end of it to inject the juice into the doughnut. He said it tasted very nice.

Sometimes I suspect chefs just have too much time on their hands. The main course was delish, though.
Well that was a good film. Watched Public Enemies. It was quite a violent film but about the John Dillinger so it's to be expected. Depp was brilliant as the villain of the piece and of course he is captured and shot in the end. There is one thing I'm really pleased about ~the F word wasn't used once. I am going to watch Sweeney Todd tomorrow night.
Enjoy your lunch tomorrow Lottie. I love eating out but I'm in tomorrow and it's salmon for me.
Hiya Jno that sounds a rather 'passionate' dessert. If it had had some meringue with it I might have liked the idea better. Keep on having a good time!
I've just watched midsomer and did enjoy it.

Night night all, am putting clocks forward now as it is 1am!
I've had a lazy evening lolling in front of back to back Law and Order and SVU.
Chris Meloni can arrest me anytime he likes .

It's awful when they don't come to meet you Robina .To this day I still think Shaney is going to come bounding along the hall .Take care xx

Have a Goodnight all and sleep tight .

Rhubarb doughnut sounds yummy.

(runs in with a bucket of cold sponges, hurls them at sleeping biddies, runs out again giggling)
Ha! Missed!...I think you hit the Ed though so it's a week in the slammer for you naughty woofy.

Morning all..chilly and dull. A bit quiet around here, I think everyone's forgotten the clocks, they'll all be late for church. Actually I haven't changed my clocks yet, I was awake early anyway thanks to the crows squawking & rattling the tv ariel at some UNholy hour, tut.

I just couldn't eat passion fruit, I'm sure it's very healthy but ewww, all that gelatinous slop. Just give me a bowl of tapioca. :o)

<gasps> Well I just had to google image Chris Meloni & there's a pic of him in the full nuddy (and I've got a filth filter on)...oooh, and on a Sunday! mmm, no wonder shaney wants to be arrested, the minx. :o)

urgh, you can have my share, he looks like a construct. Chilly here but quate nice and springlike. tackling the garage today....
Good morning Biddies. It's cold here but brightening up. Mr LL and Meggie have gone walkies and I am about to shower and change ready to go out for lunch. Have done some more ironing this morning and sorting out of clothes. Between us we have far too much. Does Mr LL need 40 shirts - I think not!! They have accumulated over the years and these are the ones still in good condition. I haven't counted those in the 'OK for DIY and gardening drawer1.

Have googled the nudie man and am with Woof on this one. You and Shaney can share him. He doesn't do it for me.

Which leads me on to say I never did get to see Daniel Craig last night. For some reason we couldn't get ITV properly!!

See you later.

xxx
Morning all, Chris Melonoi, I also googled him, but could take it or leave it!

Very warm here today. Don't like this time change, it's lunch time but I'm not hungry yet and then we have a 50th b'day to attend!

Hope everyone is OK x

garage done...can you see my halo? cold meat and crusty bread for lunch.
Afternoon each! Chris 'Poloni' not for me either!! For me it's becoming a toss up between Robert Plant and Depp. How fickle am I.
I have just finished the Sunday Express Skeleton Crossword all but for 2 clues. I had to use the help of Brian, my crossword consultant. Remember ~ he came on here for a very short time a little while ago.
Off out for a walk in a little while ~ hope you're having a good day.
Laters 'gaters
Afternoon each
This clocks business gets on yer nerves .I'm all behind .
Lovely day here ,brightened up after a dull start.

Jude ,whoever sets that Skeleton crossword should be certified .I've never come across a cryptic like it .The clues are so convoluted and make no sense at times. I'm fairly competent at the hardest of cryptics like the Speccie and Azed but if the person who sets this calls himself a cryptic crossword compiler he's acting under false pretences :)
Even when I check with Brian it's hard to find a rational explanation for some of the answers which are sometimes tenuous in the extreme .

Haha... Lofty I can't remember the last time I ironed a shirt . Mr S only wears them for special occasions . I tuffed all his work shirts out when he retired and he only has about half a dozen now and they just hang in the wardrobe gathering dust .
I used to stand and iron fifteen white shirts every Sunday night for years .Thank goodness I don't have to do that anymore .I hate ironing . I have a basket upstairs with some to do and am very good at walking past it . There are probably things in said basket from last year:)
Hope you are all OK today .Take care and see you all later xx
Hello all, I'm back!

Can't get used to this time change either, I think it 4pm and it's 5pm. Had a lovely lunch and then a few drinkie poos at the 50th party (also a bar opening!!!) but I only had lemon shandys as I hate losing my faculties. And to be truthful the type of person there isn't the type I wish to associate with, now if that sounds snobbish, it's not supposed to be, and I can get down and dirty with the worst of them, but I just did not click with these new residents of Es Cana (which also is the council estate type place of the island!) Of course there were a few old friends (about 5) so we had a laugh but then I wanted to come home, so we did. Mr N likes these occasions and I was willing to get the hourly bus home but he also came home. I think he was tired from getting up early to watch the Grand Prix!

Very warm here, quite nice here!

Hope you are all OK, woofy stop this non stop cleaning! I expect I will get the urge soon!

Mr N seldom wears proper shirts, no call for it over here. He has several short sleeved summer ones which I have to iron in the heat! At the moment he wears polo shirts and if I dry them in the drier, they don't need ironing!!

Hope the rest of you are well and happy!

My two non negotiable extravagances are my haircut and my ironing lady. We have cotton super king sized sheets and DH still wears shirts. I have been so good today, tidied garage, tied box room, stacked dh's car with stuff for the dump.......it can't last.
Don't go and wear yourself out Woofy. It's Sunday!!

I agree Shaney the compiler of that Crossword is so obscure. I could always do it before with the previous one. I do get most of the answers but don't know how sometimes and have to ask Brian to explain them to me. :~)
I've do all of the puzzles in that paper, I even have a go at the sports one at the back but I can never finish it. should be surprised if it's not the same bloke as some of the clues in that are cryptic.

Ironing ~ What's that!! I do do it sometimes though, once in a blue moon, like tops, pillowcases, and would you believe I have to iron pyjamas if they need it.
That's all for now tea time for me. Have a ggod evening Everybiddy.
19.32 hrs and still bl**dy daylight, oh grrr! Winter, winter where art thou????
Question Author
You have to do things like that when you feel like it.....DH is intrinsically untidy but loves to see things tidy so i do it to make him smile. The dogs have spent the whole of today and yesterday running around in the garden chasing each other and bickering over toys...its lovely, they love every minute of it then come in eat dinner and flake out.
Is Rab totally better now? Aww bless him and shugie!
