I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

Good morning all. Lovely day here but slightly chilly, I love it. Am piling on the pounds cos there's no zumba and I can't walk much due to the huge sore blister on my heel from when sisters and I were dancing on the stage! There's a Halloween party this Friday so will have to wheedle round Mr N as I'd love to go and dress up!

Changing the bed today into winter mode, which is basically using a top sheet now with a light padded cover, then change again when it gets colder!

Meeting friends for coffee, so I had better shake a leg! Making a beef stew for dinner tonight, yum!
glad you've been given the green light to go on living, Shaney! Always good when invetigations give you the all-clear. My GP is too lazy to give me the results for anything un less I nag him. I've even tried getting them myself and giving them to him but they just mysteriously disappear from my records. Lazy bum. If only there was another GP around.
Am avoiding my 6 monthyly thyroid and BP checkup as I know that i am too fat and too unhealthy, will get round to it eventually!
quite right, neti, stay off the chocolates for a day and have all your tests the next day, then resume normal service.
move over sqad, ^^^ Dr jno's here :)

Morning all...very dreary here, bit breezy but not sure whether to risk pegging out. The leaves are falling thick and fast, I miss seeing Charlie snuffling around in them, he'd do it for hours. I don't feel like clearing any today though thanks to a sudden ibs attack last night. Apart from the body ache during during the day there wasn't a lot of warning....maybe that cheesecake at the weekend was too rich for my system. All bloomin' bloated and burbling again now and I'd been ok for weeks....grrrr...I hate it, it really knocks my confidence because I start worrying about it & that makes a vicious circle.

Jude it must seem a bit flat back in downtown Derby after gay Paree, lets face it we're hard pressed to even find mange tout around here..... :) I hope you took lots of lovely pics.

lol woofy 'help you decide' = encourage you to spend money :)

Hello all
Another dripping misty day here and my hair is all frizzy lizzy after a trek into town.Didn't buy nowt exciting although I drifted around the handbags in Palmers .I did buy what i went for though which was a birthday gift for a friend .
I like all the coats Robinia but can't see the Debs ones .Your link just takes me to the home page . I would buy the leopard one but that's me :)
..hope that tum soon settles .Could have been the chscake ..to much dairy perhaps .Hope all Biddys are otherwise OK .
There's no avoidng my thyroid checks Neti ! He won't issue the tablets unless I go and let them draw blood .
We have yearly subscriptins on a credit cardtype thing, so it's just a nip into the chemist, scan the card and hey ho there's the meds. But I have to renew it in jan so can't escape for to long. I just can't bebothered to get up early for the blood test and they hurt me and I am always blk and blue with lumps!

The Leopard Print one!!!! definitely.

It is very similar to one I bought from M&S last year and I love it!!

I am about again today with not so much pain. Have had a very heavy cloud hanging over me.

I am keeping an eye on you all.
had a blood test this morning yahoo ouch yarooo. Gallons they must have taken. Needles as big as drainpipes. I hate needles. I still have the cotton wool taped over the gaping wound but I may remove it around Christmas.

Anyway, followed up with lunch at Gary Rhodes 24 floors up and that was lovely, so it has soothed my pain. Rather misty view unfortunately, but the food was great.

Oh Robinia, I see you've moved in next to me

I love that graded leopard jacket...and the second BHS coat with the less fluffy collar.
I flogged some 35mm camera stuff on ebay so packed it up and posted it today and did some shopping. Its very autumnal here which is rather nice. I can't do too much creamy stuff these days, or, oddly too much fruit and veg.
my yube neck snuggly top cam today. I look like a large furry elephant in it but it is sooooo snuggly that its not going back. I have a feeling that this year is going to be a cold winter.

Yes ,Yes ..that bag and that coat :)
Fab .But I would buy the leopard one as well :)
Ok ..I'll confess ..I not only drifted round the handbags but I bought a top from Tigi in red .It's got a square neck with sort of studded black beads around the neckline .
This is why we have jacket spud with beanz and cheese for dinner .) .
I am just about done for winter shopping...unless I see anything else........
birthday shopping being now out of the way, Christmas shopping will have to start.
oh I haven't finished christmas shopping (or house shopping, by which I mean shopping for the house, not buying a new house)....I was just talking about clothes.....
Morning all..another cloudy day, I can feel it getting colder.....haha, I knew you'd all like the leopard coat, I like the way it's graded, very 70s. I'll think about it, I really need something light and washable to just nip round the shops in. Of course, when I live in the £8 million mansion I'll have someone to shop for me...I'll send you a food hamper over now and then jno :) Hope your blood tests are ok, funnily enough I don't mind the needle, it's the container/pumpy bit that gives me the heebie jeebies. Weird, I know.

Tum's still playing up :(.... I really want to gather speed and get some leaves up today. Oh booger, I fed up ... :) I think that cloud's hanging over me too Lottie.
Morning all. Been up since 5.00am so am now ready for bed...............

Robi. This is the coat I got last year. Now in the M&S outlet store!!

http://outlet.marksan...lesrank&searchSize=12

I paid £75.00 for it last year before it shot back up to £125.00. I still love it!!

See you later, must have snooze zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Note to self
Do not pig out on two ,yes two, pomegranates after you had Beanz for dinner .
Another dull dripping day here .Season of mists ? I'm getting a bit mist orf now and wish it would dry up and blow up a bit windy .
Hope you are all Ok ...off to my brother shortly for tea, cake and a natter.
^ He, he. That'll teach you ;o)

I can assure you that baked beans with chillis on toast for lunch and lots of brussel sprouts for dinner aren't I good idea either - as I found out to my dismay the other day.
