I'm looking for a new hair styler . My old Nicky Clarke has given up .
Well ,let's say it went ..bang ,and I jumped abut a lot :)
What I want is a hot brush type thing ..not a straightener ..just one of those ones that give your hair a bit of bounce . Like a blow dry brush but electric .
Any recommendations......thank you .

Back from the strangest funeral ever, no coffin,(she's going to Palma to be cremated or maybe there already!) church too crowded so most of us (at least 2 whole villages) just stood outside, not hearing or seeing anything, but then we all queued up to condole the family, well I have never seen such pain in a father's eyes, I'm welling up again thinking of him, awful.
My feet were killing me in high heels, so Mr N took me to a little spanish bar where we ate tapas (octopus, not squid, prawns in garlic, salted sardines with toms on bread, olives and squid rings in batter!) we also had two beers, feel better now and am in bed with a coffee and some Dime sweeties (Daim overhere). Still can't believe about my bro in law hasn't hit me yet!

Morning all... you'd have thought it was Nov 5th last night, so many bloomin fireworks!
I don't alter my clocks at night I just get up as normal and spend an extra hour gazing out at the dark and (soon to be) cold rain.... :( Actually I watched a Poirot with Peter Ustinov, I love them. In fact it might be a lolling tv day again, I really want to shift this awful feeling and pushing myself to keep going doesn't work.
Hope your overactive tum is better today woofy...no fun is it? Why anyone on this earth would take laxatives as a slimming aid is totally beyond me....
.....as is the thought of anyone being made to feel better by eating squid and octopus, yuk neti!....my insides are going into spasm at the thought.

Morning all, this extra hour is driving me mad, I've been up since forever. I loved it when younger. Chillier today.
Just spoke to sister, and the other sister spent the night there and they are making up lists of to do, and cancelling his appointments etc. She is remarkably cheery, but cried when telling me that he received the last rites thanks to a catholic Portuguese nurse who understood these things and called in the priest.
