Eyebrow threading

Have any of you ladies had this done ?
I was in town this morning and there was a stand in the shopping centre and they were doing eyebrow threading for a fiver .I dithered :)
Does it hurt ? My eyebrows are nowhere near as thick and dark as they used to be these days but I was wondering if it might make them "look" neater and thicker.

Hello all, another busy day here but pouring wet. Gave up on Tesco's samphire because it was so unreliable. e had a couple good lots but more than that were very woody and unpleasant, like chewing toothpicks.

Afternoon all.

Just had to do the weekly shop as nothing in the house. I was in such a deep sleep when Mr N woke me up I was also having a very strange sream, felt dopey for at least a couple of hours.

New iron used and working Ok, so decided to clean the old one cos it was leaving dirty marks on clothes and that is OK now too.

Afternoon all...are you enjoying the peace n quiet in here?:) Lawdy it's a cold wind but it's drying the washing...there are man pants on my line! That'll give the neighbours something to talk about. Well one side know but I didn't see the others to tell them. We're getting along famously, he's a very tidy house guest, lol...haven't had to cater because he's eaten out with Tarquin or mates & he's bringing fish n chips in later. Not sure how I'll cope with him leaving again :'(
I don't know what Sunday plans are, his last day....Jude is the Bluey any good for Sun. lunch (or recommendations pls)?

Hope you're all ok, we'll probably be back to normal (?) attendance next week :)

Spent the last couple of hours trying to find how to download music from stupid wins 8 to my new mp3, nothing happening, so went onto my old notebook, still nothing happening. grrr. of I trot to tech!

Evening All. I'm back to school today and I'm meeting some children I haven't helped before. It's great and I really enjoyed it. I'm going again next Monday as on Wednesday there's a good Jazz pianist and singer on at the Theatre Royal Live at Lunch session. I'll be there with my walking friend.

Your time with your son sounds great Robi. Hope you get fixed up for Sunday lunch. I forgot to say maybe it would be a good idea to book. There's always the Harrington too but that definitely is a booking required place on a Sunday.

Nothing much on telly tonight is there so it will prob be Radio 2 for me. I didn't have a good night last night. Didn't go to bed until 1.00 and was still awake at 4. when I eventually slept I got up in a real dreamy state to go you know where and the door was shut and I crunched into it with my big nose. I did abit of fuffoowaffing and sat down rubbing it telling myself I hadn't broken it which luckily I haven't.

Thanks Jude, it was just a standby idea, can't book anything cos his itinerary keeps changing, as soon as family & friends hear he's in the UK they want to see him. :)

Steady is coming later.He rang me and told me he hadn'tbeen very well since he came home from his golfing weekend.Not sure if it is over indulgence or man flu'. Anyway he is off work for a few days and going to see his girlfriend this weekend.

Today there were so many people I hadn't seen for ages, and they all wanted to chat, I was out for ages. Just made a chicken, mushroom and bacon pie, runner beans and mash for dinner, but as hija wants her's at 4.30 I've done it now!

It's bloomin' cold here and drizzling but we've been promised 22C at the weekend .I won't hold my breath though .

Baby moondust and his mum came to see us for a few hrs, he's on the bottle during 'office hours' which has plumped him up and I got to feed him :). He's adorable....when he's smiling...but he knows how to holler. We were singing nursery rhymes, be loves it, but we kept forgetting some lines so it was a bit improvised. We'll have to stop that when he understands, lol.
