Face packs

Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

sorry about the name mix up dementia is setting in...Not the booze, have found a lovely soft drink, San Pellegrino orange or lemon. Its fizzy mineral water with fruit juice added.
Glad to hear that Mr S is doing okay and keeping my peeing fingers firmly crossed.

I buy San Pellegrino. My mineral water of choice .It's got a nice "soft " fizz .
I didn't know they did a fruit flavoured one .I'll have to look out for it when I do my next lot of online grocery shopping .

Evening Jude, Glad you enjoyed your day.

Have actually just had a bath, because the shower is broken and I don't want to be smelly. Am sitting here wrapped in a bath sheet, and feeling hot rather than relaxed. IBS has been bad again today, so phoning doctors tomorrow. It's gone on far too long this time.

Oh my! I had a cape like this 40+ year ago only mine was red. My skirt was only slightly longer than the cape.....very Avengers!

Hello all ..once again
Just come back from the hospital .Mr S looks OK but tired .The surgeon said it went well .They did it via epidural this time .He was a bit hot and shivery so he's got to have antibiotics and won't be home yet ,certainly not tomorrow .
Just waved Picky off .Poor starving child demolished large plate of beef casserole ,broccoli with mashed spuds and lmn chscke .
I need a couple of matchsticks to prop my eyelids open but I'll have a snifter nevertheless. It won't be long before I'm up the dancers though.
Glad you had a nice day Jude .Like the coat Woofy .I have to keep it all covered up too these days .

I doubt that your rain is purer than ours, ours is fresh cos we are an island! That is until we get that dreadful red rain from the sahara!

Have woken up again now, and it's still raining so it'll be wellies for coffee today!

Morning all
Seems as if it's wet all round .Dull and raining here too.
I saw on Accuweather that heavy rain and floods were forecast for parts of Europe .
I'll be going to see Mr S later this afternoon .But in the meantime I have to load the dishwasher and do some household engineering .

We had mega thunder and lighting here so I spent a good part of the night sat on the settee watching night time telly again with two dogs jammed against me. I have got my next physio appointment this morning and am supposed to be going to town to pay for my car......hope I can stay awake.........

Raining here today and it was quite heavy. Am quite pleased to see proper rain rather than the few drips we have had in recent times. But I have to go out!!

Woofy, what your boys need is earphones and music playing like you get when you have an MRI scan.

Morning all...what a dull dreary day.
I'm so pleased Mr s's bearing up shaney. I bet he'll feel much better today. Look after yourself...oooh, ELO on the radio at the moment, I know you like them :o)

So you got the storm woofy? They'd been forecast for us but apart from the rain there was nothing else....there had been a lot of fireworks earlier in the evening, I thought I'd nodded off and woken up on Saturday. The sleeves on that coat would drive me mad, I'd be terrified in shops that I was going to sweep everything off the shelves :o)

I was so wiped out last night I was going to go to bed at 9 but I watched that Life in a day (of 24th of July, 2010) on BBC2, I like things like that.

Sounds like a good day Jude, I bet the autumn colours out that way are beautiful. I've got plenty of colour in my garden and a lot of it's lying on the soggy ground. Hope my stiff arm and shoulder eases soon so I can clear some up at the weekend.

Morning all. The rain has stopped here but for how long is anybody's guess.
Here's hoping Mr S is on the way home soon and feeling better.
Enjoy the physio Woofy I think I remember you saying it was ok last tiime. Hope it works anyway. I love the cape coat too but I would have to have a brighter colour I look awful in pale things. Beige and grey are the worst.

I got cracking this morning and have defrosted my freezer and got everything back in. When I say everything there wasn't very much as I knew I was going to do it so was emptying it slowly for days. That's it all done and dusted.
Just spotted Depp is on the Telly tonight being interviewed by Graham Norton.

Have actually made a doctor's appointment for next Tuesday re IBS!! New doctor at surgery, my GP is on holiday. I could choose from quite a few but decided to give the new guy a try and a friend told me he was really nice!!

Still peeing down here and cannot see the village of Siesta which is on a hill cos it's covered by a sea roach (misty cloud). Went out with hija for brekkie, wore my new comfy and (apparently) waterproof uggs, but they are too big for me. I think they have stretched!

Back was wonderful last night but very painful again today (must be the damp) Hija has just hoovered all through the villa, but went around things (her things) left on the floor rather than move them!
