Right ladies
The sun is out the sky is blue and it may very well hot up a bit a bit soon which means less slap. .This winter has taken it's toll on my skin and in spite of exfoliating ,cleansing and whatnot it looks dingy to me .
I don't expect miracles at my age but just need something to brighten my skin a bit and make it look a bit fresher .Do any of you use face packs on a regular basis and if so what can you recommend .

Have just been on the phone to vodafone with reference to the ridiculous bill I received and they admit it is wrong and are going to repay 60€ into bank, I do hope they do. Glad I have cancelled that contract, just do not trust them.
Still wet and chilly here now.
How is everybiddy today?
How is Mr S?

Mr S looked better today not so feverish .They had a job to get his temperature down last night .He got jabbed in the bum with antibiotics and liquid paracetamol .
He'd had chish and fips for lunch and looked more cheerful .They take his catheter out at midnight so if he's got a good "flow" he may be able to come home tomorrow .Fingers crossed !

Good for you Woofy I hope things keep improving for you. All the best with your new car.
Mr S sounds as though he is getting better Shaney I really hope so. You can't beat fish and chips. That can be a healthy meal would you believe.
I wish you could find a physio on Ibiza Neti to help you with your back. Wont your Dr. recommend one for you.
I'm listening to Radio 2, watching tennis on Sky on my lap top in one corner on the screen and writing to you in the other :¬) Daft or what!
I've done quite well with housework and gardening today. I've planted loads of bulbs...tulips, daffs and crocuses and 'bottomed' my kitchen. Quiet chuffed with myself. Oh yes and been to Sainsburys.
I'm going to sign off now so I hope you all have a good night and the rain stops.
I'm going to have a 'watch the telly night'...Starting with Mastermind Got to keep my brain active - finishing with the Johnny Depp interview.
Sleep tight Everybiddy...
See y'all tomorrer! x

Glad you're hobbling better woofy...hope the rest of you feel better soon where applicable. I had a monster headache yesterday afternoon so I did absolutely nowt. I think it's the weather, the barometer had dropped back a long way.
It's lovely to see flowers at this time jno, that's probably a winter flowering cherry.

I've got 2 beautiful deep red roses out & on a sunny day I close my eyes & sniff and pretend it's summer.
Well as I slurped the last mouthful of sugary tea from my china mug this morning I spotted a single tea leaf in the perfect shape of an aeroplane. Ooooh joy, thought I, a handsome stranger's going to whisk me away to a paradise island in his private jet. As I tipped it towards the light I saw it was a small fly. :o(

Good morning Biddies. Dank and dismal here. Just watching news of the terrible accident on the M5, only a few miles from my SiL. It's so horrendous and very sobering.
I have some beautiful roses out too Robi, two lovely scented deep pink ones. A reminder of summer.
Well, no handsome man is going to whisk me away in his jet today so I suppose I better get on with mundane household tasks and do a bit of shopping.
Have just read that with IBS one should avoid wholemeal bread, too much fruit, tea, coffee, any roughage, processed food, etc. bla, bla, bla. - Mashed potatoes for life I suppose!
See you soon.
Thinking of Mr S and hoping he is allowed home today and that the plumbing job has worked and the tap is working again.

Lottie, these new flat screens do not appear as big as the older ones, we wanted a 21" as we have a small house but bought a 26" and could have gone bigger1
No it was the cat initially waking me up, then Mr N was watching the golf in the front room, then the back started aching and hasn't stopped since, took all my pills with yogurt as the medico recommended, but still hurts. I think it must be something do do with the damp. and there a teribly sore point halfway down the side of my right thigh.
Bless Mr S is he Ok, do hope so and hope the peeing starts when and as it should!
