Stupid question I know, but how do you about getting your hospital records?
My son who was attacked and left for dead- well I have got him a solicitor on a no win no fee basis and he has all the photos so far, but need his hospital records. I’ve never ever done this so how do I (or my son) do this? X

For hospital health records, the individual should contact the records manager or patient services manager at the relevant hospital trust.

smow your son would have been given a discharge letter which would have hospital details on.
Your GP would also have been sent hospital notes electronically.
I am sure you visited son in hospital you can google name and town to get details.
As has been said earlier the solicitor or his secretary should being doing the leg work IMO he is just trying to save some money by asking you to do it.
