Stick with jogging if conditions allow, I find that's the best all round exercise and is free. I've just joined a cardio boxercise class (4 once a week) and that's really improved my fitness. You could also try skipping, it knackers me out but is effective and is only the cost of a skipping rope.

Buy a set of weights! That way you can do gym-type stuff without going to the gym. Better still, nobody sees you putting all the weights down to the lowest setting when you first start! A cheap bench will help as well.

Run,Run,Run, I ran whilst in the forces and weighed 11 stone ,i havn't run since i got out 15 years ago and weigh 16 and a half stone.

Buy a yoga mat, some blocks and a few DVDs....

MiniN 2-3 times a week I bike to work. It doesn't take any more time than driving through the rush (luckily we have bike paths) and it doesn't hit my precious free-time! Perhaps if you have a long drive, find somewhere to park which is a 20-minute bike ride from work and bring a bike in the back. I find the adrenalin rush lasts me throughout the day.

Walking is the best exercise and pleasureable. If you live in a safe area then cycling is great too. Gyms are not great places. I was a member of a gym once and found there was queues for the treadmill and they stated putting time limits on them. They were stuffy looking places with people looking at each other and had a boring music channel on which talked more than played music. I packed it in and began walking instead, much more enjoyable and free
