can ynni read - 1. I do not think that climbing a statue is illegal . I think you have to damage it and that would be ( or =) criminal damage
3.I dont remember a policeman ( fella in uniform rarely seen now) ever saying - get off that statue or I will arrest you!""
what else cant she make out?
Oh yes - there was a statue of colston in Bristol and they pulled it down and threw it in the harbour and then they were charged with criminal damage and it obviously was and the jury acquitted and it is called a perverse acquittal as criminal damage and conspiracy had clearly been done the end.
phew ! is she just winding me up? bless

Section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 states that a person is guilty of an offence if they use threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behavior, or disorderly behavior, or display any writing, sign, or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive, or insulting, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm, or distress.
This action was insulting, disorderly, threatening, most certainly deliberately insulting, and designed to cause insult and distress. The met is corrupt beyond recovery and now controlled by the immigrant population of London. It will not stop there.
