To eat or not to eat!!

(Also put this q in sport as I didn't know which topic it would fall under?!)


Should you eat before or after exercising-in particular running. Also if you should eat after does it matter if it is slightly later in the evening than normal?

Most people will tell you to eat before you exercise, but I dislike it. I would prefer to have a cup of Gatorade or half of an energy drink (but low sugar or carb content), and water before I work out. Or half an energy bar. Work out, wait about 45 minutes and then eat a salad with somechicken. I prefer eating vegetables after I work out because they work the best with my digestive system. They're lite and have a lot of water and nutrients.
Eat a small snack before exercising if you are hungry, but better to eat after normally. Also, eat earlier in the evening, helps wth digestion.
