Oh god - I was hoping no one would ask.... here goes.

I went out with some mates last night and one of them mentioned this thing that was an alternative to using tampons etc

Yes but had no luck. It's quite painful trying to get it in, and in the end I gave up and went back to ye old faithful tampax. The theory of it is great but the practise is something different.
