Onwards and Downwards Continues in August
Welcome to August's Onwards and Downwards. Welcome to any and all new members keep up the good work.
Summer holidays are here again and those of you with children or grandchildren at home it can be tricky to keep the snacking down. How do you plan to keep the little ones occupied and out of the pantry?
Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!

I've lost 2lb this week. Makes up for not losing any the week before. One of my friends at work bought a bag of double choc chip cookies from Sainsbury's yesterday and was offering them around. I said thank you but no thank you. Normally I can't resist a giant warm cookie but I did and I feel quite proud of that :o)
I've now lost 8lbs in 5/6 weeks.

It is the total input (compared with your output) that counts. Usually measured on a 24 hour basis, I believe it matters little when you eat it as long as you get the nutrition you need and no more calories than the dietician advises.
That said if a few ounces of porridge was proving too much to eat all at once you must have a much smaller stomach than I. (Or maybe a narrower tube leading to it.)

Managed to lose another 1lb, well done to everyone else, and keep going. I will be on hols in Devon next week so will keep checking in to remind myself how this slimming thing works! I started SW the day I got back from last year's holiday and have lost 25lbs, so give or take a bit that's half a pound a week. Slow but steady does it!
Good Morning All,
Yesterday I thought it was Wed so weighed myself and the scales regisitered 2 lbs up.....today two pounds down from last weeks weigh in and so I shall take that answer. Over here it is either fast or famine with many lunches with friends and more to come. I have found that if I polish up my chatting skills I can't each so much ha ha.
Recently you have all been doing so well so I am looking forward to good results today. If not, never mind. We'll help you get back on the road to success. Onwards and downwards....
