I mentioned in thread below that during the night I was getting mild pains. I was only noticing them after I had been down to the toilet and they were wearing off pretty quick and not coming back til I got up and went back to bed again. Ive not had nothing else since. Just got up from a little nap and believe I have just had a show.

I know the shows can happen for a week or so before labour actually begins but with the light pains as well, is it or isnt it?

As I never had any when I had my daughter, I just wondered what are your experiences of having shows?

Still here, just!

Although the contractions arent very regular they are definately getting stronger and Im reaching the stage now where Im thinking to myself why did I ever think I was going to be able to do this without an epidural?! lol

I have called the hospital now but no one will be coming out to assess me until Im getting regular strong contractions for an hour or more. With the way mine are all over the place, that could be all night! At the moment they are between 5 and 7 minutes apart.

Hi red, he has been with me all day but out at the moment taking my daughter to get new boots as the soles are falling off hers lol

Ok they came back and I now have the tens machine on and about to call the hospital again to get the midwife out because this is definately more than I can take at the moment! lol
