Any Dubonnet drinkers?

I have been a Dubonnet fan since i could legally drink nearly 40 years ago. I bought a bottle recently and it definitely tastes and smell different and not for the better. So...it it me or have they changed it?

Well I wasn't paying attention to words shaney, I was people watching, but I couldn't help feeling there was some air of 'bumbleness'. I expect a lot of people were on edge for one reason or another.

we moved on that day (Churchill's funeral) from a condemned private rental to a brand new council house.

I don't remember Churchill's funeral but I've got a few newspapers that my mum kept from that day. I haven't bought any for today's occasion.

It's quite a novelty getting washing dried and ironed in the same day.

oh lawdy, just seen an ad for a social club in my old home town...'bookings being taken for xmas 2013'....now I'm really depressed. I think I'll have an amble round the garden, if I can stay upright in this wind that is. I could end up on top of York Minster.

xmas 2013? I've just got a travel brochure in the mail for 2014-2015 holidays. As my normal max advance is abotu six months it went straight into the bin.

Not quite true, actually, you don't get the satisfaction of putting things straight into the bin these days, you have to rip off the plastic wrapping and put that in a separate bin, which is tiresome.

I'm with you on that Robi. I thought my fence was going to take off. Thank goodness it didn't. Must get it sorted.
Apart from that I've triple pegged my washing out and hopefully the wind will keep the clouds away and it will dry.
I'm having a bit of a 'Spring clean' cos I'm having a visitor for the weekend. Going to see the Rams play in their pen-ultimate home game before the end of the season you'll all, including Shaney, be pleased to hear!! :)
Off to Sainsburys now for some food! I have nothing much for my dinner today never mind about tomorrow.
