does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

The shadelier has arrived and it's fabulous, love it. Let's hope clickety click shopping keeps going.
Still trying to fathom this one in a car thing
Two, three or more in a car will double, treble etc the chances of one family catching it in shops. I see that.
Two or more people from different houses = more households at risk. Yes, I see that.
What if two, three or four people in one house all have their own transport?
Also, those people could all buy the same items therefore exceeding purchasing limits.
I think too much.
Amen and out.

don't fall off Robi. As I said I don't think its the infection thing so much as the monitoring...because you don't know if two people in the same car are from the same household. Now if you assume that you are going to have to stop and check every car with 2 or more people in to be sure they either have a good reason to be travelling or they are from the same household and you don't do only one to a car, you are going to have to stop many more cars than if you enact the only one to a car thing...because if its only one to a car and no one tries Jno's idea of boot travel, you can scan cars as they go by and only have to stop the few that you aren't sure of.
jno. We self isolated from Friday 13th and for a week before then had contact with very few people. I saw 2 paramedics yesterday. Considering we only have 3 neighbours who are not really very near and are surrounded by fields, I think we are relatively safe now. The cases in Norfolk are rising (17) but only in recent days. I spoke to the person yesterday that I had a meeting with and she is fit and well. We are in constant contact with son, who only lives 2 miles away, but he won't come in and we wouldn't let him anyway. I don't intend to go anywhere in the car, but if I had to he would have to take me. I don't drive any more.
Apc, our son's south of the river, which is somewhere down Angola way. He calls us most days to see we're still alive (but so far we've disappointed him). I went out walking today - no fields round here but the streets were fairly empty, possibly because the wind was chilly. People were still in the High St shops, so I bought some chips and a teensy weensy bottle of sanitiser from the chemist, a bargain at £5. It's an exciting life.
Hello cave dwellers
It's been a lovely day here, full on sunshine but chilly in the east wind.Got a lot of washing more or less dry though.Hope you're all as well as you can be considering.
Very quiet here ,hardly any traffic and today when I logged onto my library account I found that all Norfolk libraries are shut for the foreseeable future.I might get the book I reserved by Christmas at this rate.
Just went outside to take rubbish out and the air is lovely and cold and fresh so took great gulps of it.
I was tempted to put my coat on ,get a chair and sit in the porch but I'll lean out of the window for a bit when I go up to bed shortly instead.
Glad to see your sister arrived safely Woofy.Behave yourself with that chandelier Robinia. I keep roaming round the shops .I like that art deco mirror in Dunelm and my clicking finger keeps hovering.
Night all,sleep well.

Morning all. Day 8 beginneth! We are staying calm and friendly and although we rarely drink alcohol we are abstaining as it can cause arguments. Luckily we are not alkies!!
The police in mallorca stopped in a street and played a guitar and they all.clapped and danced. Very uplifting. Even if they did it here we are too far out to see it although we live near the casa de guardia!
Had a dream the lockdown was lifted for a while and went out for a social coffee. I live in hope!!

Morning all... Happy Isolated Mother's Day where applicable.
Blue skies again, I might get wrapped up and potter in the front garden later, it's warmer there and there's a shrub rose that needs tidying.
I do apologise woofy, I'm experiencing shenanigan envy, mine have been put on hold.
Go for it shaney. I've been hovering over many things in Dunelm. :)
Well after only few minutes on facebook I seem to have irked someone. Result! :) Lighten up, haha.
Right I'm off to see if I can wind anyone else up before elevenses.

I am hoping to get outside today, but the wind is still bitterly cold. Like Shaney , I hang my head out the window to get fresh air. Had another A Fib attack at 5.30am but got through it very quickly and didn't panic. It seem to be digestion issues and bloating during sleep which trigger them and wakes me which apparently is common.
