does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Another lovely day but chilly in the wind. They said on the forecast that it's turning colder by the weekend and uttered the word snow.
Haha, did you mean ceanothus Jno? Well,it is blue. Our one on the the front wall of the house did that a couple of years ago .It was always a head turner, masses of bloom and then suddenly it just up and died.
The lad next door knocked and asked if we were ok and said he was cutting his grass ,did we want ours done. It's not a huge lawn and took him about half an hour with his petrol mower so I gave him a bottle of wine all from a safe distance.I thought that was really nice of him.
Nothing to report otherwise. This is the end of the news.
Hope you're all safe and well.

It's ok jno I've got a tin of zam-buk. Our mum smarmed it on us everywhere, we always had a green tinge.
Well I took my chances and sallied forth into the unknown and grabbed a few basics in Iceland. It was very quiet but one woman seemed totally confused when the girl on the till told her to leave a bigger gap behind me. I hope they carry on doing that after this is over :)
Only had big bags of spuds so I'll be opening up a chip stall later.

Hello fellow campers. So.cold here today. I have to go out tomorrow to post a UK tax form as santander dont recognise me via telephone! I also have to go to bank which is allowed.Hope I dont get fined. A friend did her shopping and just stopped by the sea for a minute for a breather and was promptly fined €600! I dont hold out any hope.
We are collecting our food from a farm shop 10 miles away who will also deliver if we need them to. We don't have to go into the shop. We stand at the door and give them our name and they bring the box out and we collect it once they have gone back inside. I have given up with supermarkets. The farm shop has a daily delivery from local sources and I don't have to book a time slot. If we get stopped by the police, then at least I know they will deliver it to us. I feel much better now knowing that I can have fresh veg, etc, even though it's expensive!
Haha nipplewort ,that's made me laugh.Nearly as bad as blossom end rot which might be the case if there's no loo roll to be had.
Nothing doing here. It's all very quiet, empty buses going past and there was a pic of our deserted High St on the news.
We're ok and hope you all and yours are the same.
We're alright for food atm ,I've always been a forward planner anyway and my Brexit prepping of buying a bit of extra stuff that will keep has come in very handy.Tinned fruit is just as good as fresh.
