We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

clouds were dark for a while but it's lightened up again, so another false alarm.
No rain or storms here either so they've offered us another chance of it tomorrow afternoon. I wouldn't have minded a shower to freshen things up...watched Andy win, not riveting stuff but you can't take anything for granted.

Oh dear, not you too shaney...I'm still on simple food, I'm fed up of this griping.

Lawdy, just had a leaflet for kebabs through the door....
turns slightly green

It's been raining here ,not a lot though and the sun was shining so we had a lovely rainbow .No thunderclaps or lightning .
The only thing thundering is my insides .Sorry you still feel gripey Robinia .
It's so uncomfortable .
Evening all, back from theatre, had pad thai noodles and wine in restaurant before the show, sat next to a large, jovial and extremely noisy Christopher Biggins, good show. Back home making coffee then noticed a phone message from Mr N , returned the call, woke him up only to find he was just hoping I was ok! Just caught up with Eastenders. Sis made a grab at a spider which was running across the room, I saw it briefly and didn't flinch,, but still don't like them!

oight oight
Cooeee good morning. I had a good night's sleep with no disturbing dreams or cramp, so refreshing. Lovely sunny morning. Off to Dunhelm mills to look for bedding.

Hope you are all hale and hearty with no tummy probs.
Morning all...loving the bright mornings ☼ ☼ ☼ ....but the nights are drawing in now ya know :). I'm doing a fine impression of a hover fly today, yellow vest top (which really isn't me, I won't be wearing it to leave the house) and black joggers (won't be wearing those either...so that's me in me in the co op in vest and pants). I definitely wouldn't pass the dress requirements in cb.
morning all. I am in jammy trousers and a fetching green t shirt.
I am in a dressing gown as it isn't lunchtime yet. We were sitting in the second row at the National Theatre, not bad for £15 and very well placed for the eyeball-removal scene. But Lear does drag on a bit as people come on one by one and get killed. For some reason, the Fool was beaten to death in a bathtub, which I don't think was in the original. I'll have to check I didn't get any blood on my clothes.

Nice bright day .Hope you're all well .
I'm wearing khaki trousers ,a black T shirt and me slippers.
well I changed it for a subtle duck egg bue/green t shirt, that yellow glowing under my chin was making me nauseous, lol. It's gawn cloudy, my ears are a-poppin' and I'm a giddybiddy so I might pass on the shopping, it's going to be fresher tomorrow.
Oh dear jno, the last time I saw bloodshed on the stage was when curly clark fell off the stage during the school nativity.
it's like my Mum used to say, King Lear's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

Ooops sorry Shaney forgot you said it was raining. There still could be a cool breeze though!
I was wearing blue flared jeans which covered my wedge white trainers which makes me feel tall and slim, and a fetching white t-Shirt. Been looking at bedding but they never have more than one set of anythat I like. Bought a steam/spray iron and a toaster, feet are killing me, just having a cuppa in the conservatory wearing a nightie, sounds like cludo.
