Some sort of waterproof tape ..

We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

I hope the flying saucers don't cause any explosions .
I just watched Shopgirls .It was very interesting .I spent most of my working life standing behind a counter of some description but I never had to disappear upstairs to supplement my income ..lol.

Morning all, fresher & cloudy....I was in so much pain yesterday I was dreading going to bed & convinced I was going to have a flying saucer incident but I slept quite well. I wish my sore insides would settle down, it's so miserable. I'm wary of going to the doc, he'll probably want me to be viewed from the inside and I'm terrified of that.
I didn't watch shop girls, I was too uncomfortable to concentrate, I might catch up with it tonight if it's all footy again...Andy's playing again this afternoon.

Woo Jude, that's lovely, it must be the most glamorous bird feeder I've ever seen. Save the seeds, I'd love a few please.

Off to sister's aother flat in Rottingdean today, to deliver a a 32" flat screen tv and some bed in a bag that she bought.

went to a Flanders Do last night and came away with some poppy seeds, Belgian chocolates and a guide to WW1 battlefields. No beer but we did get Belgian wine to drink while we were there.

Hello, are we all ok? Had a great day, sis drove to Rottingdean, then got the bus to Brighton, where wd roamed here and there buying rubbish, ate tacos for lunch, got bus back to Rottingdean, then collected car and came back to Eastbourne. Way too hot in the conservatory so I lolloped in dark front room.

I have done practically nothing all day ..lol.
Just a couple of odd household jobs and cooked the dinner .Most of my time spent watching the tennis and knitting .
The match between Djokovic and Stepanek was brilliant .The spectators certainly got their moneys worth there .
Whispering Dan is on atm but football has taken over so it'll be a catch up .

Yes shaney, the Djokovic game was a battle, I doubt he was expecting that. Andy M barely had time to work up a sweat, nice 'n easy for him.

Woofy the poppy isn't mine, it's Jude's. Everything in my garden is racing ahead early, there'll be nothing left by August, I saw gladdies in the shop yesterday and I always think of them as a late summer thing.
I've been taking colofac which, fingers crossed, seems to be helping. Unless you count eating polo mints, peppermint is the one thing I haven't tried.

I've been up since silly o'clock .Next door started pressure washing everything in sight at an ungodly hour .They're still at it .I expect they'll be washing the roof in a minute .
