We have water going down the back of the sink and it's running down the wall behind into the cupboard below .This is very complicated :)
The sink is only a gap of about an inch and half from the tiled splashback and has been set into a beechwood worktop .Over time this has started to go all grotty ,the grout is all nasty and any water that gets spashed around is running down the back of it and under the lip of the sink into the cupboard .
This usually only happens when Mr S is doing any washing up .I've tested it with a glass of water :)
My son is going to fit a new sink and worktop for us ....but ..
he's full of good intentions but we may have to wait a while ....
In the meantime is there some sort of waterproof tape that I can buy to shore up this gap pro tem.

I've had my hair done, it looks very nice...well, it will when it's been shampoo'd a couple of times and the low-lites have lifted a little.

There are some people round here like that shaney, they have to clean every square inch and jet washers make such a mean drone. There are others though who don't seem capable of operating a sweeping brush. I'm sure there must be an instruction video on YouTube.

Better throw some water on my tubs, if and when it does rain it'll probably the wrong sort.
my neighbour, he one who closed his bathroom window on a piece of washing line then holds onto it when he stands on the porch roof like an abseiler, has been cleaning today. Our garages share a centre wall and he had carefully swept and cleaned the tarmac in front of his garage and left a neat line through the dirt where the garages divide. If he thinks to embarrass me into cleaning up, EPIC fail!

Lol Woofy .
Not a bad days work here today actually. Picky came over and took me to Lidl and then he cut the grass for us and did a bit of chainsaw massacring .
I pootled around behind him with me snippers.
Are you beautifully coifed Robinia ...my turn on Monday to be high and lowlighted.I'm sporting grey lights atm :)
My bro popped in earlier .Someone hit his rear light in Sains car park yesterday. They left a note though ...sorry I hit your rear light .....no details It cost him forty odd quid to be repaired . He's not best pleased.
haven't done much today. pottered a bit and took the dogs out for a drive Rab is almost back to normal now so we will start walks on monday. Weather coming in here and dogs are twitchy again so I have dosed them and given them early dinner and they have gone to sleep.
Lol@woofy, I couldn't even see the poppy!!

gosh it's turned cold here now, we 3 sisters have been traisping around Bexhill which is full of charity shops and they have to visit each and every one, I found Store 21 and bought some 3/4 length leggings for zumba.

Oldest sister bought us lunch in a lovely anc popular italian restaurant where we had to wait 45mins for a table, so visited the art galleries at de la warr pavilion, oh yuk blood and guts and gore, horrible piccies. Lunch was nice and I still have some on my t-shirt.

trailed round yet more charity shops and then got bus home but had to change buses at station and had to wait 30 mins, my feet are killing me.
[i]3/4 length leggings for zumba[i]... sometimes I wonder what language people are talking on here. I'd love to see the De La Warr pavilion (without the blood), it's supposed to be nice.

Went to an exhibition on bridges, that was connected with our river cruise with whispering Dan the other day; had lunch outdoors by Canary Wharf, which feels very spacious and Manhattany, then came home.
Oh btw our italian waiter was called Igor Stravinski !!!!
you know what? just for a day i'd like someone else's lunching and exhibitions life....
its ok, ignore me, I am fine I have got post stomach bug cabin fever

Oh me too Woofy .I do miss London for that sort of thing .I used to love to go up to an exhibition, museum or to haunt the V&A etc .
However my bro said today that we may go on a boat trip on the Broads next week depending on the weather, on the Southern Comfort paddle boat,so I'm looking forward to that .

I'll buy you a sandwich next time you're in Canary Wharf, woofgang! The exhibition is free (it's not very big) but I guess it helps to live nearby.

I've had a full-screen look at that river cruise video but I'm not on it.
ooh, that looks nice, shaney, I've made a note
I'd like to be an exhibitionist for the day too.
Thank you for being so understanding. Its all a bit two steps forward and three steps back at the moment. Will be better once the dogs are getting proper walks again.
if we're doing a life swap later today, you'll have to go and pick up a scrip from my GP and demand to know why he closed an hour early last night so I couldn't get it then.
Morning all...bad news, it's raining! Well, a sort of heavy drizzle...good news, the garden really needs it.
Bad news, the bin men came early....good news, I put the bin(s) out last night 'cos I'm on neighour duty and I didn't want to forget. Running back and forth to the tip with their rubbish in my trolley would have been an inconvenience.
Bad news, I've put my t-shirt on inside out....good news, it's a cover up day.

As I'm first here it looks like it'll be me going then jno, I do a great Maggie Smith mean stare, they'll be open 24/7 from now on.

Testing.....
Morning all. Sorry woofy I posted 2x yesterday to cheer you up but just wouldn't post. I am waiting to seepiccies of sis's bedroom, and I hope you feel cheerier today.

I have a hugemongous ( ? Comes up as huge mongoose!! Err no!) cold sore on lip really messy and horrid. Pillow slip is revolting, so sis changes it every day.

Off to Seaford this am, then to a rock n roll show at the open air banstand tonight, will be a tad chilly I suspect, but sun is out. It rained yesterday eveningand was quite cold.
Shaney that boat trip looks nice. I really do not want to go back to Ibiza, there is so much to do here, although money is runnning out. I love the hustle and bustle of it all.

Morning all
The bad news is that it looks like rain and I have loads of washing to do .
The good news is that the rain might green the grass up now it's been cut .
If anyone wants to feel like they've been run over by a steamroller they can swop with me .
Hope you're all as well as.
That is the end of the news .
