Locks For Writing Slopes?

I have bought a rather nice writing slope on ebay, however the lock doesn't work at all. Its quite easy to remove though and in fact I suspect that its not the original one anyway. I've hunted around but the only supplier of replacements I could find is in america and the p and p is huge.

Does anyone know of a UK supplier of writing slope (wooden box) locks please? Either new or old but they must work and come with a key.

Wild, wet windy weather as usual. There'll be flooding this winter if this carries on. It's very tedious and depressing.

good day all. Its a lovley sunny day here, hope it last til I am off the ferry at least! I hate water,
.Been busy tidying up hija's room, washing still flowing merrily at the side of the house but Mr N hasn't seen it, thank heavens, last lot on now, our towels and house clothes. I hope the tennis and grand prix will keep him in the front room.
We nipped to a local bar and just had mixed startes and a salami pizza and cola. We will be fed up with food in a couple of days time, can't eat like we used to.
Aw your poor brother, how awful for him, after all these years of being a couple.
Sis was asking yesterday what she did after her OH died she just cannot remember much at all, who stayed with her at the time or where she spent xmas, it was all a fugg,
M N reckons that if I die he'll die son after, so I said no give me some time on my own.
All packed up and waiting to go now.

we've picked the best time to go as they are starting digging up the lane to lay the sewer pipes and we will not be able to drive in and out, but will be nice to have drains and not a soakaway. Our cat sitter is known to imbibe a certain amount of brandy during the day so he'll probably fall in the ditch and remain there!

Evening all. I'm still around just so tired and trying to catch up with myself. My Aunt is still in hospital and has to go back when she has been to my uncle's funeral on Wednesday. It's all a bit worrying.
I had a very late night Friday after going to see The Waterboys at The De Montfort Hall.

afternoon...same as woofy, third attempt, this site's crip. So is the weather, it's £$%^&*( &%$£. Just how long will this wind and rain carry on?

My eye's improved but the spots are still coming and going...not painful but still hoping it isn't shingles.

What a grim day ,awful weather ,really miserable .
Hope your aunt will be alright Jude ,must be stressful for her.
Have no motivation atm and it was crip on tv last night so got my books and pencils out and did some colouried some dollies .Very relaxing and good for the soul.

Just had dinner in the hotel. Golly gosh it is full.of Spanish pensioners. They all.stared at us cos we either look foreign or young! Now sitting hotel lounge having a coffee before going back to our suite. Having a lovely time.

Just my tree to do. I love it even though hardly anyone sees it. Both my sons usually get together here so that's ok. Just watching an old Foyles War then off to bed that's if I can keep awake it doesn't finish til 11. Forgot to say lovely drawings Shaney. I wish I was good. I loved it at school but couldn't do it very well.
