smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

Good morning all. It is still raining, the hooligan winds have more or less died down though. Nor sure what we will be doing today, not much I expect. I cleaned the downstairs floors yesterday so i now have the satisfaction of knowing that all the mud is new.
jude, it is a biddydom requirement to kick ass on the phone. I was about to do similar to BT but they have contacted me to say they are upgrading the local exchange tomorrow and it should make the connection stable again so Virgin must have warned them not to mess with biddies and their internet shopping habit.
lottie I am glad your foot treatment went well, sending you "it will work" thoughts.
Laters all
Hi Lottie, I'm pleased you coped with your injections...I don't have a problem with the needle itself or any pain they cause it's just an association with them making me feel like crip that sometimes makes me uneasy. Of course an injection can make you fell a whole lot better too...and quickly.

What I do have a problem with is the dentist...and that's where I'll be later :o(
oh, like buses, three biddies at once
My phone died yesterday. Going to go and get a new bog standard old fashioned replacement that works with my sim. I want big buttons and large numbers - I am not interested in any 'features'. I am in granny mode!!
I don't mind dentists actually Robinia. The only thing I hate about them is having to keep my mouth open and getting awj ache!! I dislocated my jaw when I was 11. Well in fact I got punched in the jaw by a friend!!

good morning all again. I am not crazed about the dentist either but am even less crazed about the thought of no teeth....anyway not due to go till June. We were all restless last night, I think it as the wind.
Try Rennies!!!
That's it woofy, plus the fact if you don't go I think they strike you off (nhs dentist)

haha, I found this in my pictures yesterday too...Lottie might recognise them

Oh bless Robinia. I can't recall seeing that before (well not with the speech bubbles!!) Priceless. I am now saving it to my pics.

lovely picture....
Lottie who should I give the Rennies to? ha ha
All three of you!!!!!
Morning all
Restless night here too .It was sloshing with rain most of time .Stopped now though and it's cloudy and muggy .
Hope you are all OK .Pleased to hear things went well Lofty and I hope you get some relief from the pain.
Nothing doing here .Just waiting for Sainsburys to bring my order .
See you later. Good luck at the butchers Robinia :)
Shopping tips:

These are really nice and not at all what I would consider beach trousers. Just a fine jersey which is so much nicer than those crepey trousers. They are also nice and long. Have just bought two pairs for my holiday. Very feminine and look very nice and with tops and a bit more special than black joggers!!! Look nice with TShirts or more dressy tops!!

I have a blue and a black pair.
I can't imagine wearing them on a beach though!!!!!

lovely for the slim and elegant among us :-( I would look like an elephant...especially when leaving the room.
I am not slim woofy, and certainly not elegant. But I must admit to having long legs.

Sure, deck your lower limbs in pants
Yours are the legs, my sweeting
You look divine when you advance
But have you seen yourself retreating?

Ogden Nash telling women to stick to dresses
I'm back, wiv all me teef...just a quick clean needed. It's so muggy here too shaney, I had a tropical moment just as I sat in 'the chair', I bet the dentist could feel the heat :o)

lol jno, I love Ogden Nash, there's one bout the dentist
"So hard to retain your calm
When your fingernails are making serious alterations in your life line or love line
or some other important line in your palm;"
