smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?

Is it just me or has AB finally picked up speed? My answers are going straight onto the page without having to be refreshed and I'm moving around the site much quicker. (It's the only site I'd been having trouble with.)

vets just rung, Rab is out of surgery and fine, just waking up so i can go and get him soon. Is anyone else cold? Its freeziing here, not just me, shughy is cold too, have just put the heating back on.

by 'eck, you're right woofy, that wind's very strong and cold here, I ran to put the heating on when I got back in. Did my good deed for the day down the road and stood a blue bin up and put back the things that had fallen out onto the pavement. None of them were rinsed out, yuk, no wonder people get flies and maggots.

hope rab's results are nothing worrying.

I'm going to stay off my feet for the rest of the day, I've neither the energy nor the inclination to do otherwise.

We are home, very well behaved at the vets and didn't eat anybody. We have shared chunks of chopped up chicken breast and two of us are asleep. I had forgotten how evil the smell of passed anaesthetic gas is.
I am tied to the settee today as Rab is asleep on the floor (on a clean bed) at my feet. I play a few games on facebook so not too bored...might nod off myself, i think its going to be a night of not much sleep. Rab can't do stairs tonight so we are all down here...good job i have a downstairs loo.

I bet you're glad that's over with Woofy .Hope he recovers well and give him a pat from me for being a good boy :)
Nothing doing here .Sun out ,then in ,then out ,blowing a gale ,blacks up ,then sun out again .Bloomin' weather .It's making me feel out of sorts and all my joints ache .We're going to have chish and fips later as I can't be bothered to cook .
Btw Woofy that San Pellegrino drink is lovely. I got both, lemon and orange. Very refreshing .I like the lemon best .Nice and sharp.

Hi All. I'm finally home from Notts.. The music at Lunch was a man playing the piano accompanying a singer. The songs were poems by British Poets set to Music by British composers. Interesting and entertaining. Then we had lunch in the Bistro Pierre. Very nice.



Now sorry to say Sad things are happening here to my 2 friends and I feel quite emotional as I am so happy at the moment in my life and yet I feel so sad for them.

I'm off now and will be back when things get sorted for everyone concerned.

I've just had a cool bath which has done zilch .I think I've got one of these rheumatoid attacks .I'm on fire .All my joints are swollen and hot .
I've looked at a cotton dressing gown on M&S but can't make my mind up .

Just realised, rather disgustingly, that it will be about 4 days before I can shower again because I have no one to leave the dogs with....even going to the loo is a family affair at the moment...bet you wish i hadn't told you that lol.

Lol jno, at least there is a downstairs loo here with a washbasin. Once I can take Rab upstairs, which will be Sunday, things will get easier, it's just that he has no dressing on his stitches. I've got one of those cone things to use on him if I need to but that won't stop Shughy helping him! He gets a wound check on Monday then the stitches will be starting to dissolve by Tuesday/ Wednesday. I have friends who would come and dog's it but they are all adored by the d gos who get very excited when they visit which would not be a good thing....so I have to go smelly......
