smelly carpet shampooer
I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

After a sort out a couple of years ago I presented them with it all whether they wanted it or not. :o)
I see it's something virtuous that shaney has...hmmm, a Watchtower?...the magazine, not the structure... :o)

It's drying quick today...
I don't need to worry about ironing now, I just do a bit as and when but when I had my sons here I developed a system. I had a clothes airer next to the ironing board and set myself a time limit depending on how well I felt... I went through it in order of importance but instead of folding as I went along I just draped it over the airer. Somehow I seemed to get more done in less time.

marks do an easy iron spray which i use if ever I am that desperate. I would never in a million years have guessed ironing, I still go to my lovely lady what does...Been going there for 15 (!) years now. I am very sleepy but the dogs keep realising that there are workmen outside so no peace for me :-(
Ooooh, ironing!! groan. I have just finished ironing things to take on holiday. I shut stuff in a spare room and leave the room shut until I run out of clothes. Mind you I don't iron T shirts, nightclothes, underwear, towels, bedlinen, tea towels, and so on and so on. In fact I only iron trousers and Mr LL's shirts. Most of my tops you can hang on hangers on the washing line and not iron.
These days Mr LL is mainly only wearing T shirts or polo shirts, but he needed some shirts to take away - and I must have ironed at least ten pairs of trousers today - his and mine!!!
I hate it - you have indeed been very virtuous Shaney.

Bon Voyage Lottie and Mr LL, I so wish I was on that cruise with you, have a lovely time and check out the cemetery in St Petersburg, full of famous people. And do not be tempted to buy souvenirs until you get to Moscow, so much cheaper. I bought a Faberge Egg for 50€ and they were much better in Moscow!!!
Oh sorry jno, didn't know you were back, can't cope with all these jet setting biddies.
Good news re bro-in-law, he is going to hospital next week to have stents put into his leg so the toe will receive circulation and then he can have the heart by-pass he should have had originally in the first place before all this nonsense. Oh and according to William Shatner on HIGNFY we are pensioneers, I rather like that.

if she's on a proper cruise the wine will be included, so she won't have to drink ashore.
