smelly carpet shampooer
I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

Considering the amount of spiders in this house at the moment there's probably a few of those in there too.
Had to go out in the drizzle and my hair's turned to kapok, tut.
I think I'd be very tempted jno

Lol lol ..I've just been reading the women drinking pints thread ...I had an hour or so out in the garden earlier heaving pots about and it was quite warm .I downed a pint glass of orange barley water when I came in . I suppose that makes me ,and I quote ....
Disgusting, unladylike, common, cheap.
Love it .
Turned cloudy now though and a bit chilly .
I've circled Vera in the Radio Times Robinia ..as one does :)

we went down to the river again and it was cool and damp... and then the sun suddenly came out for a few hours and it was happy and glorious. Still keeping fingers crossed for tomorrow but will take a picnic hamper (probably the ones we got from the Buck House picnic for the last jubilee) and lots of brollies.
Don't forget your Jubilee wellies Jno :)

Just been to the canival, not a patch on Ibiza's. but sis and I were whistling and shouting and waving and dancing. I was cuddled by a human bumble bee and a human lighthouse! chatted up by a nutty looking chap who was banging on about Margate, I said err no thanks! Camera didn't work, and it had new batteries, changed them now and works fine d'oh. Using two hours of data roaming cost me £10. now phone is empty :0(

Hello all, we gardened again today, huge fun i will post some more pics, the garden is beginning to look quite spiffy except i couldn't get the petrol mower started so the grass is taking over.
jno when you are at Battersea Park, wave to my old home, it is in Parkgate Road which is the road between Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge on the Battersea side. I know more or less where you will be standing to watch the Flotilla.
Robi I am so sorry to hear about your neighbour, when you are feeling a bit down anyway it doesn't help I know.
Its very muggy here and has just rained but not enough. I did bread baking a again today but one lot came out like housebricks, i rechecked the recipe and suspect a misprint as it didn't say as much yeast as I would have expected...will try again tomorrow.
Neti, you hussy!
lol Shaney i was watching that thread but in the end cba.
Oight oight my dears

Morning campers...weather report - rain, 9C, crip.
I've been watching London on the tele, what a bloomin shame about the weather. I know it'll be full steam ahead anyway but a bit of warm sunshine would make it such a spectacle. Hey ho, have a good time jno, I'll look out for you, keep flapping your wings.
That sounded like a lovely meal shaney, hope you enjoyed it. Yes, it's an awful feeling when someone's always been at the side of you is suddenly gone..we'd become quite close these past few years. She'd slowed down recently and somedays we were the blind leading the blind, :o) but had previously been incredibly fit and her garden's lovely, very neat, I hope the next people take good care of it.
Woofy I couldn't start a petrol mower. I was thinking this morning that my garden looks good and I do very little in it these days. It's amazing what grows when you leave it to nature, the forget me nots are just finishing but there are foxgloves, welsh poppies and canterbury bells taking over. I hope the gardener manages to do the hedges this week.
tut...whistling women...how common...these night clubbing Ibiza floozies....mumble....
:o)
