Has anyone got one? and if so can you please tell me how the shampooing bit works, I have managed to soak all carpets and not a drop has been sucked up. My main confusion is do I have to switch between showering water, and sucking up in the same operation? I too scared to try it in case it blows up! Easy instructions please and thank you.

Hope your hospitals are cleaner over there than some I could mention....think they need a training session or two from Matron Scrubbit. I remember the days when you smelt of disinfectant for days after visiting one...

Hello All Well I've only just got warm from Saturdays wedding. It was b*****y freezing and I came home at 7.00 and got in a very hot bath with lavender oil in, put my 'jim jams' on and promptly fell asleep on the settee and woke up at 1/2 past midnight. I have one other complaint apart from the cold and that was the desert. I had raspberry and strawberry pavlova and I got 2 raspberries and 1 strawberry, honest!
No Robi didn't see the plane go over in fact didn't even know it was going to and my youngest works at Rolls Royce, you'd have thought he would have told me wouldn't yer?!
It's a lovely day today and I am feeling quite good at the mo. Dr. has given me 4 more weeks off so I'm goin to make the most of the time. Been printing my photos today of the wedding. Turned out not too bad for an amateur.
Hope you are all feeling ok and recovering from any Biddy ailments. And <b. Neti try not to worry I'm sure everything will be ok. Bye for now All

How can I listen to the Zombies (also love 'em) when I have Tony Hancock on the cassette and a spanish pressure cooker making all sorts of very strange noises - so strange, in fact, that I am sitting in the next room, as I'm a bit frightened of it.

Talking of noises, when I bought my new Balay fridge/freezer last year, it made so many horrible noises, that there was an accompanying leaflet explaining what the noises were - I thought that was a bit strange.
Neti even the merinque was one of those nest things you can buy 6 in a packet from Sainsburys not like the real home made stuff. It had one scoop of icecream in and one squirt of cream!!! :o)

Maybe this was flying over Derby?

Shop bought meringues - lucky beggars - can't get them here and I don't make any - thus I am meringue free.
I think i spelled meringue wrong sorry!!
If I knew where you lived Neti I would send you some.
oooh, I'm terrified of my pressure cooker....had it for donkeys years & it's still like new. my fridge/freezer drives me nuts...in fact I hate all 'house noise'

and I have quite enough trouble with moggies in my garden thank you without having them flying in....
Well I have had a funny experience this afto. I was sitting at my computer and I heard a 'bing bong bing bong' like when a clock strikes the hour. (4 different notes) I had no idea what it was cos my doorbell goes 'bing bong' the same note - do you get what I mean! I went to the door and nobody was around. Well I rang my friend and she (being a very spiritual person) said it was the spirits trying to tell me something and me being a sceptical about stuff like that didn't know what to make of it.....so I'm still wondering what it was Lol !!!
Just read my last post NO I'm not going bonkers even though it sounds like it LOL!!!!!!
